Concept cars are the cars of the future. But unfortunately, not all become serial. Such cars are created to show the future design trend and attract attention.

1968 Alfa Romeo Carabo is straight up 20 years ahead of time with that styling. It would fit right in Cyberpunk 2077.
Alfa had a lot of crazy protos, like Pandion which is still nothing like anything we can see on the roads.

I think it's very interesting that some of those technologies in prototype cars were installed in production cars later. The Tucker Torpedo's turning headlight could be seen on the Citroën DS21. The LeSabre rear mounted transmission can be seen in a couple cars, the Corvette in example.

Citroen Eco 2000 doing 67.2 mpg - it's 3.5 l/100 km. Very impressive for early 80s, even by today standards it is such good score
Pretty good selection by year.
Having the designers of each car would be much more interesting than those useless sparse info.
Panther 6 (not “six”) was not exactly a concept, entered in production and two were sold in 1977 and 1978, there were better options as the Ford Megastar or the Jaguar Ascot.

The Vauxhall SRV concept I believe is being restored at the National Motor museum on Warwick, I saw it in the workshop, it looks immaculate

That "Tucker Torpedo Prototype" is pretty clearly an early 70's Buick with a one off front end. The styling from the doors back looks nothing like a car from the 40's.
If you're really that confident then why don't you look up "tucker torpedo prototype". The Wikipedia article will say "model year 1948"

Some of these don't look like concepts, some even look like they could be close to production, cool. Also look at when the cars were made.

Missing Bizzarrini Manta from 1968 by Giugiaro (his first design on his own!), it basically created 70s and early 80s concepts, along with Carabo from Gandini. I’d put both.
Would have been better with bigger pictures, but still interesting.

Imagine If Chevy actually made Corvette nomad, can you Imagine how badass it would be having C3 as family car or something? Some of these should be production models. Aerovette, volkswagen W12, excalibur J type, dodge charger roadster, lambo marzal, opel geneve, buick wildcat, Porsche 984 and 989, Lamborghini estouque, Peugot E-legend. All of these would be so cool
They make the Cadillac CT5V now that’s about as close as you can get. The again Callaway made an “Aerowagon” which is pretty good…

The Lincoln Futura is one of my favorite in this list.
And is a DC star. One was turned into the Adam West Batmobile, arguably the best one with the Tumbler.

I love when people talk about cars like the Devel 16, Lykan hypersport, and the SSC Tuatara as if they're real cars, and making fun of real cars that actually have confirmed speed records like the Bugatti chiron ss, cuz the concept car speed records are coming up with absurd numbers like 330 mph top speed, 0 to 60 in 1.5 seconds
