I’ve always loved those parallel mechanical actions too. So satisfying. Very nice how you brought that to a knife action. The tolerances look as sharp as the blade!
It's nice -- I did obtain one from the first bunch. Holding from the bottom it's hard to get it to fully open and I think could take some redesigning so it will fully open on first use of the flipper. It may improve with use but I am still waiting for that.
I love knives and I love THIS knife even if it isn't ergonomic etc or whatever else. The design is aesthetically pleasing and the movement of the parts aided by the linkages is just super cool. I would call it the yin and yang knife.
Locking liners are illegal in certain states? It's a safety feature so you don't cut yourself, not a weaponization feature. What is the planet coming to?
Love the design, I do wish it was like, half the size for use as a little pocket knife. I find myself getting way more use out of 1.5 in blade than anything bigger around the house.
thank you! blade steel is 12C27N and they're for sale (currently pre-order, the first batch sold out very fast) via the link in the video description. we're working on additional versions now, appreciate the suggestion
there are definitely plenty of way more practical knives, it's still great for simple everyday tasks, but the way it moves and opens is the biggest draw for sure
Cool knife for a society that really doesn't use knives anymore, besides boxcutters and safety razors. I'll rather carry a vintage jack knife that has seen many years of hard work.
thanks Jim! everyone is entitled to their opinion, we're here for it, we'll just keep making cool products we believe in and know they won't be for everyone
Wish this were in a smaller or thinner design it is a personal preference but I like thinner blades I would prefer if it weren't so wide for edc and use cases in general I know this design is more visually pleasing but it is just less useful "for me" would love to carry if there is a more pocket friendly version
Definately a cool design you definately nailed it when u said not for knife people. bc $178 for 12c27n and a steel frame is absolutely rediculous. yes materials arnt the only deciding factor on price and design and other factors can effect price but not to this extent.
If you like this knife enough pay the extra and if you cant justify the price to yourself then dont get it. supporting clones copys or ripoffs is never a good option.
Wow nearly $180 for 12C27N. You must think everyone in the world has lost their marbles. This is just a gimmicky product made for quick money. Huusk knife done the same. Made fools of everyone, and now you guys. It's a shame.
Yeah, no thanks. It's more of a fidget toy than a practical knife. Look how little of a grip you have on it during opening. That's an accident waiting to happen. I guess if all you want is something cute to show off to your friends, it's OK. Or if you have 170 bucks to waste on pocket jewelry, but it's just too fiddly for me.
Folding fighters are for fantasy keyboard warriors. The provoke took a great design. And butchered it. This is a new design. Very cool indeed. No one will make a copy of the provoke. Because. Well it's dumb. This knife will be copied for generations to come. Great work guys.
This design is simply glorious. One of the coolest knife designs I've seen.

Grant and Gavin Hawk did a mechanism like this almos 20yrs ago...only it locks over center (more secure)
What’s the brand name?

Cool design, great loophole for states where lock on knife is forbidden.
this actually does have a lock as it turns out, wasn't mentioned in video (and I just added it to the product page, oops) but it has a liner lock!

@adarg2 some states or cities have laws against all locking knives. I believe pretty much all of the uk is that way.
sounds like craighill needs to make non locking version next
Love the design, I do wish it was like, half the size for use as a little pocket knife. I find myself getting way more use out of 1.5 in blade than anything bigger around the house.
a mini version is definitely a cool idea!
Very cool, what blade steel and are they for sale? Would love a purple or an orange one. Cool knife guys🤙🏻

Looks cool idk how well it functions but it almost looks impractical

Would love a brass/steel version of it 🙂
ok awesome, we'll add it to the list :)
i love it!
we love to hear it
Should sent prototypes out for some of the big knife tubers to check out
who would you suggest? we've reached out to a couple already, but definitely down to send some out
@@craighillcompany a few channels off the top of my sub list
Metal complex
Maxlevel edc
Neeves knives
Uncommon edc
Nick shabazz
Definitely interesting!
Can the blade be replaced if it breaks or becomes damaged?
Yes, you can send it to us for repair
Very cool. Just not $178 cool
Looks v cool
many thanks
Nice work. Dismiss the haters and knife snobs.

stay tuned, we may be working on something along these lines...
does it lock?
indeed, it has a liner lock
It's so cool, and I'm going to get me one, but come on. To answer the lady's question: It's a fulcrum.
I dig it.
Right on.

Yeah, for that price point, I’ll wait for the knock-off.
If you like this knife enough pay the extra and if you cant justify the price to yourself then dont get it. supporting clones copys or ripoffs is never a good option.
Collector knife at best. I wouldn't use something with a clunky mechanism as edc
Rad
Yeah I think you're more of a knife girl😂
wow
You don’t show it being closed. It looks like it could be dangerous.
You know those foam things that women use to separate their toes when they get their nails done…that.
Moves like you are going to drop it. Internet BS
Put this in CS2
It's maybe cool, but that's all. That handle is not ergonomic at all.
Looks fine to me. Could be a little slimmer but there's nothing wrong with a simple rectangular handle though

Expensive fidget toy. The way you have to hold it when opening it isn't good. Very liked to drop it.
That's dumb

Nah the Provoke is much cooler.
