70 RAILGUN SUPER CARRIER - MSI Crescendo - Space Engineers
Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 вер 2024
- For the largest insurance company in the solar system, it makes sense to have the largest flagship. Where the Salvation class battleship may take down fleets, the Crescendo class supercarrier threatens nations. Ridiculously fast and able to land on planets with an armada on board, the Crescendo is the zenith of power projection.

Thanks for the review Arron, your vids in the past have all helped me on the way to this culmination so it means a lot to me :)
awesome ship man respect +
Thanks for stopping by and building this beast !!!
@@LastStandGamersHi, I was just wondering if you could review my ship, it's the HMS Majesty Mk.2 - Majesty Class on Mod io, it's perfectly fine if you don't want to or are too busy, I was just asking, it is the 3rd large grid ship i've ever built, but I want you to be just as strict, so I can see what I can do to improve my future designs, it doesn't need and mods or DLCs (because I'm broke lol) and I tried to do my best with it, again, perfectly fine if you are too busy or just dont want to do it, I was just hoping to see if you could review it so i could do better on future ships through your advice, thanks alot!! :))
(I am planning on buying the Warfare 2 and Decorative Blocks DLC(s) for future build, so feel free to give me some advice on them if you review it! :)
Btw bro, Awesome ship man, I'd never have the patience to do it.
Unless I drank coffee
Then I might
Look Aaron..... I never get tired of seeing the same ships blow up. You gotta show us the turrets destroying something.
It's a rule, nay, a law! If you show us big fuck-off turrets, you have to show it destroy something.
This ⬆️
I'd like to add: He did say you could bombard something when you rotate those...Do we call them Canon pods? Why did we not see this ship fly past something while doing so??? Just a little bit of Planetary surfice destruction...
I mean if you've ever seen an ammo detonation you'll realize it'll never get old
Mission accepted !!! Video will be up shortly.

@@LastStandGamers My man!!!
Ok. but... and hear me out here. What if... we added another rail gun?
Yes
That *big* middle hangar is an good place to put 2 giant small/hybrid grid Railgun (and possibly some other weaponry) turrets! *I am completly serios, it needs something there to hold it together.*
@@Taron_HaiTar doom guy has a railgun mod pack I like to use, it has a capital class rail gun (it’s huge) I think you could hide one or two behind that door as a surprise 👍
Exactly! Why stop at 70?? What about another 70 at back?
@@hybrid9mm I've thought more about putting something armored with high caliber petrusion out of the sides, in that "big cargo middle hangar", or in my words, sheer design failure of structural integrity, that *will* snap entire ship in half! Like, serioslly, couldn't author put atleast some structural support there? I imagine it's not that hard to put there. Even a simple door would've helped!
If I ever get computer strong enough to handle Space Engineers good, then I retrofit that ship myself!
When you only need... just the tip.
This thing fly in gravity ?
Yes
For how long ?
It does.
I guess you could call it a Railationship
Most underrated comment😂
“Ok chief we’ve installed 7 railguns, no enemies will outstand that!”
“Give me 10 times more railguns”
dislike because you teased us with a big weapon system but we didnt see any effect on enemy ships like in the past
Sorry to hear that, I wanted to test the weapons separately video should now be up with the testing.
Holy shit that ships got more railguns on its front than my crius class has in total, and its got alot of railguns
Its like if a UNSC war
ship and a Venator class had a baby, good lord.
Probably if a Punic Class supercarrier and a venator had a baby
@@jovanblackman2608if Punic and Infinity had children
Or if they change design of ETERNITY with punic design
@@WhyyouSodesperate makes sense👀
This carrier is enormous though
"You see that ship in front of us?"
"Yes, sir!"
"I no longer want to."
"Sir, the target is now swiss cheese."
"Sir, it's one of our own"
"I don't care, I don't want to see it"
"But sir were also out of Sabots"
"Ram it."
I never build a ship without a main engineering/reactor room. I love a good reactor room.
Gotta put it behind glass too, in case you need to have a dramatic spock reenactment.
Yeah he couldnt find it 😢
See that planet cadet
(Yes)
I DONT WANT TO
Some ships really seem to be designed without the concept of a "main battery". This ship makes up for all of them.
The "pulse drive"... thing kind of terrifies me. It gives me a feeling of using forces of nature in unnatural ways, where even a small mistake can spell utter devastation.
I don't really like the way the "artillery pods" look, compared to the rest of the ship they look kind of blocky and clumsy. They do carry a lot of firepower, though.
Overall, I really like the design of this ship. It's meant to be intimidating, and it does it very well. I prefer when ships are not only functional, but also take into account the crew areas etc.
I would very much have liked to see the "gravapult" launch a small ship, and of course the weapon systems at work against some other large ship or a base.
These carriers with massive arnaments should be called battlecarriers. Especially this one, it looks like it could take out a capital ship itself with that many turrets
Wow that carrier is awesome and I like the little details on it
"Oh Big ba-da-boom!"
Treasure planet?
@@StoneTall
Fifth Element
Now imagine shooting that thing down above your base and it wipes you out
yeah without a pcu limit.
Spawn a second and blow it up!!
I deem this vessel "Sublimation" after the effect it has on vessels foolish enough to face it head-on
I am DEVASTATED that we didn't get to see you truncate a red ship with those rail guns.
Gravity drives are exactly how UFOs would move aswell if you think about it, creates a bubble of zero gravity which makes you weigh nothing, just need energy
Hi I have a question if you aren't to busy with anything... how do I make a ship that is able to enter and leave the atmosphere of any planet?... because I have been having a hard time trying to figure out how it always falls back into the atmosphere and not reaching to space
Use hydrogen thrusters
Try using the hydrogen thrusters
If.Just IF, you do not want for some reason to use hydrogen.
You will have to equate the amount of thrust you have.
Atmosferic thrusters lose strength the higher you go. Up to 100% less strength.
Ion engines loose strength the lower you are on the planet, low as 20% of its power.
The problem is that each of those engines adds more weight, and each battery for making the whole show run also adds to weight. The weight will not go down or fluctuate. The thrust power for each unit will.
After considering cargo and general weight, you can reach a balance that will work without hydrogen.
But it is much less complicated to use hydrogen. Hydrogen thrusters weigh less and require fewer batteries, which are very heavy
Merge block drive can lift anything anywhere :) there are actualy few tutorials on YT allready :)
Okay but I use hydrogen thruster atmospheric thrusters but I think I didn't put enough hydrogen thruster
Aaron, please. Open a thesaurus and find another word for "detail".
thesaurus ordered, big words incoming !!!
Hands down this is the best build ive seen. AARON leran about singular and plural ...
WOW, it looks a bit like a Farragut Class Capital Ship from Elite:Dangerous
it looks perfect for spreading SWEET LIBERTY
it loooks good but it is a glass cannon there are many giant holes, exposed gyros and how long will it last anyway with all those hydrgen thrusters gussling fuel
Something like this should be launching Veritech Fighters.
You NEED to fill this thing with fighters and see the destruction!
so where are the quarters for the hundreds of crew and pilots that it would need to operate? probably ought to go in that big gap, since that is a massive design flaw even if it is cool looking. or whereever the ammo is for all the guns that a supercarrier shouldn't have, or the lift engines....
Its actually next to the gap but he missed it
this carrier borders more on the line of true battle carrier and i love it O_O
Love your content
Thankyou for the support.
ships impressive but bros pc is a beast to handle that thing.
took me a moment to realize the small thrusters were large thrusters
Croscendo (Kruh-shen-doh) - the highest point reached in a progressive increase of intensity.
Accurate name for sure.
What are you lot doing with your aircraft carriers that would require that many guns???
And why does it have ANY rail guns?
Something interesting I noticed, the gyros on the outside are enabled, I wonder what the point of putting them on the outside is then, 'cause using them as armor means your turning speed is going to reduce as you take damage, and althought that's not much of a problem considering the amount of turrets it's got, the artillery pods only have one axis of movement, and the raiguns are completely static.
The gyros are just there to stabilise the ship in planet gravity because the gravity drives normally do the steering
Crescendo? More like Descendo.
Any ship that's caught in its sights would descend into the dirt, or a fine mist
That Salvo looks better than the rail gatling
I was thinking the same, perhaps even more effective as it has less moving parts.
Holy moly that’s incredible wow.
There is no such thing as "too much" in Space Engineers...
The Crescendo - "Are you sure about that, I am all excessive."
Like the damn thing has a hangar for a freaking cruiser on it. Not to mention the guns, propulsion drives... I just.... I need it.
If you come from behind then it's completely venerable. That cuppled with the vulnerability of the bridge I'd give it's tactical design a 4/10
captain jack just uploaded the same ship lookover video.......do i smell a video stealer?????
But how much ammunition can it carry, without being resupplied. 70 railguns could be firing a quarter of a million rounds a minute or more!!!!
Despite what it may seem, this is a really piddly amount of railguns for a ship of this size. Having them all explosed like that is a big no no as well
I don't mean to tear this beauty down, but having a firing range not sanctioned off from the lounge would cause a lot of workplace violations. Just a simple wall and door would do quite a lot
god... what a hellload of thuster....
My only issue with ships like this is the bridge is vulnerable. It should be buried in the core of the ship. You loose the bridge, you loose the ship.
doesnt look very protected... (its very thin armored)
That landing bay is about to get obliterated by those thrusters
Looks like a great way to get kicked off a server fast
0:01 It’s pronounced [krɛʃɛndo] not [krɛsɛndo].
you dont often see meda ships of that size
I would absolutely make internal bridges if the camera to display script just worked
If I tried building something like that on the server where I play I'd get kick off because the server would melt otherwise.
This is an armored core boss hahaahaah
Nice video! Why are most of the gyros on this ship on the outside? I'm relatively new to the game. Just wondering why they are not near the center of mass of the ship and why on the outside with no armor plates in front? Would appreciate an answer.
because of how the hit point system works their better armour than heavy armour because they take so many reassures to make, as to centre of mass idk how much that matters
Gyros don’t really need to be placed near the center of mass they sort of just work, they are also often used as armor because they have good def
@@Ravioli_D Ahhh I remember now. The Gyro placement near center of mass only matters if you set the gyros on override. Then, they are more efficent. Right?
@@StarWarsExpert_ Yea I’m pretty sure that’s how the override control works
gyros are a great way of armouring a ship, it is also a lot safer in many ways are when gyros often come lose when damaged and can gut your ship.
then some random guy with a MK3 grinder does the funny
D:
Where do I go to pee?😮
Can you land on the planet below you or is it just for display?
Might be able to put it out in a short.
Survival friendly yea you and what army 😂
Good point :]
Thanos is comming
As impressive as it is. Grinder man still beats it.
With that attitude you may as well not build anything ;]
Not sure how the gravity assisted launch is supposed to work. From my experience, artificial gravity only affects the player and items dropped, not grids or sub-grids.
Artificial mass blocks are affected by artificial gravity. Put one on your fighter and the AG will launch your ship 😀
@@ComissarDarrickimagine you use it as a weapon
@ComissarDarrick Ahhh got yah. I've been playing for over a year now and have never used an artificial mass block.
ughhh why? servers are limiting you to 12k blocks or 100k pcu per player thats acros all your grids , almost no rotors or subs.. and best case senario 5-10 welsers and same for production..where are you going to use this?
some of us just build for the joy of creating a masterpiece. Doesn't need to be used
Ever heard of just building stuff because you're good at it? it doesn't matter if you can't actually use this ship in your Minecraft survival world, just appreciate the colour of the grass eh laddie?
Offline single player, pcu limits turned off.
You must be a fellow Garand Thumb fan :)
How did you know, oh the tip to butt haha :]
No explosions!!!???
This was just a spotlight the weaponry testing's video is now up where we shoot various targets.
PHENOBLABLA
Well, right off the bat I guess I'm gonna stop calling the supercarrier I've been working on a supercarrier. Only 43 docks, none with gravity launch, no disco hall, barely even 16 railguns... Pathetic really. 😂 In fact I think there may only be one thing the IFV Mariposa has over the MSI Crescendo... Bathrooms connected directly to the bridge to reduce the amount of time doody officers spend off-duty.
