She is such a sweet old woman now, and I can totally understand why she doesn't want to go downstairs now that Ed has passed on, without him, I have the feeling that she feels she isn't properly protected anymore and that she could have great harm happen to her.
I do hope that the years now (and to follow) are more peaceful for her, and that she doesn't have any hardships because of the supernatural.

I’m so devastated that Lorraine has passed. I couldn’t believe it when I read about it yesterday. I’ve been a long-term fan of hers and Ed for a good 10 years now. The other day before she died I had just bought a book of theirs, and it was delivered the next day when she passed 😓 she was a phenomenal, amazing, beautiful, loving, genuine, kind, selfless, compassionate woman. Her and Ed were a beautiful couple and did over 10,000 cases together around the world. They never charged a single _penny_ for all the good work they did. They just wanted to help people and it was a passion of theirs. I’m also a huge fan of The Conjuring Universe and can’t wait to see their next case in The Conjuring 3. I’m very sad that she’s gone, but I find comfort knowing she’s with Ed again ❤️

Lorraine Warren is a truly sweet, caring lady. I have had things occur throughout my life that terrified me (things I could see); two instances where my bed shaking woke me; etc. It was when my son, who just turned 18 on 4-2-19, was about 8 years old at the time, started seeing things, also, that I sent an email via Mrs. Warren's website and a gentleman called me after reading my email. He actually gave me Mrs. Warren's number and I called her to explain things that my son had been seeing, etc., and, just like in the movie, one of the first things she asked me was "has your son been baptized?" I, again, called her about a year later when my son had yet another experience with a black apparition. She was so helpful, giving me insight as to what she thought was occurring, etc. I wish I had, at that time, asked her about visiting our home, however, it had been only 3 or 4 years prior that Mr. Warren had passed away, and I did not want to bother her with such things. My son and I since moved from the house that he saw the black apparitions, however, as I told her back then, I have always felt that this "thing" had followed me. It, or something, is in our current home, which I purchased just a year ago this past January. But I do something now that I didn't understand as well as I do now....I "LET GOD"....I trust the Lord with all that is inside me, my faith is strong. That "thing" may still be following me but it does not scare me as bad as it used to.

I wake up every day fighting for my life just wishing I could have the chance to grow old, to see my grand and great- grandchildren, I may not survive to see my daughter graduate or marry....STOP being so petty and vain. Enjoy life without worrying about appearances, because you might not get to ever understand the gift of old age!
