The beauty of these views are so stunning, and this is watching it on UA-cam, to see it in 360 degree views must be exhilarating. Yes, after seeing these videos, this is an absolute bucket list entry, and I keep that list short so the entires are doable.
So glad you are doing Gornergrat. I have great memories of it. But we hiked down in snow for about 3000 ft then just meadowland, shepherds, sheep, huts and beautiful views! Hope to go back!
Great video glad u got up to the Gornergrat it is touristy but has fantastic views and a good beer! Enjoyed watching your walk down to Rifflesee the walk was so picturesque loved it!
GABE! Thank you for this FANTASTIC video. ( loved the milk on the gondola and the bare foot switched to sock feet shot - Laughed out loud GREAT VIDS AS ALWAYS.
I have been dreaming of riding a mountain bike down some of those trails for more than a couple of decades. I wish I were there now, to feel the cool breeze of the mountains. Temperatures here in Athens are over 40 degrees Celsius and are expected to reach 46 or even more by next week. Your timing was perfect, Greece is no fun at all right now. Nice shade of blue in this video.
Hi Gabriel, another beautiful perspective of the Alps, it's so wide and collective you can never see enough of it. Right now, there are heat advisories throughout Europe you should be aware of that. That hamburger meal at the end of the video could be a hint of where you're going next to Hamburg.
It seems like no matter how far you hike, the Matterhorn is always looming in the distance. Are there any trails that get you closer to this majestic mountain?
Thanks Gabe 🍺🙏🏽 Another great episode! I can’t decide which vlog of Zermatt is the best. I guess all of them are amazing ! If you visit Switzerland again I recommend to go to Grindelwald. You might be interested to do a 2 day gletsjer hike from the top of Europe (jungfraujoch)
Sensentional, Wild. Breathtaking. Pity about all the crowds and the buildings, it has even a church for getting married. Thank you Gabriel, although the southern Europe is burning and you are so cool.
Was hoping you would make it up to Gornergrat, the best views of the Matterhorn & the mountains around Zermatt. Glad you are heading to Bern, do spend a few hours there before heading to Lauterburnnen & the spectacular surrounding area. Will be looking forward to that one. Then you can head to the Dolomites.
I agree the train up to Gornergrat and hike back down to Zermatt was great ! For 125 years, the cog railway has been taking our guests from the village at 1600 metres up to 3100 metres above sea level. Even the journey is a great experience with a constant view of the Matterhorn. You can’t get enough of the panorama at the top - mountains and glaciers as far as the eye can see.
Wow, four really amazing videos from the Swiss Alps in last days, some of your best ever in the Alps. ;) Even you tricked weather to worsen later than expected. :) Have a nice time in Bern, other two days in Switzerland and on next expeditions around the Europe and world.
As a german I like the way you pronounce 'Schwarzsee'. It's absolutely wrong but it sounds somehow nice or funny to me. I think I will use it like you do from now on ;-) Good Videos ! Thank you , Gabriel ! 👍
Great video as usual Gabriel I am loving this Series . Just one question Gabriel “ why didnt you buy a half fare card for 120chf last up to 30 days. I know you are only there for 4 days Might have been worth it. You buy this half price pass for $120chf and everything else is half price all over Switzerland. Trains boats railways cable cars ,jungfrau , titlis, matterhorn goner grout, mount Rigi, mount Pilatus I may be wrong but this is what i have researched. As its in my bucket list
I'm not clear on that. I read online that 10% was normal, but when you pay with a credit card it doesn't give the option to leave a tip. Maybe a local can answer this one.

Switzerland is beautiful don't get me wrong but its probably not the best place to be in terms of weather. Maybe a couple of months in year. Not as comparable to spain, greece, Italy, turkey, Pakistan etc.
Man the Swiss are next level engineers. Building a train station on top of the mountain.
One of the most authentic travel channels, i love it.
Crazy how quickly the weather changes
Gabriek.. You did it again, Wow what a GREAT trip!! Good luck and keep up the AWESOME work!!😊😊
Gabriek is a german name 😂😂
Thank you for going there and showing us.
I've been loving your travels for a long time now. All thanks to Harald Baldr mentioning, "Gabriel 'High Roller' Traveler Mode"!
Your doing wonders for Swiss tourism.👍😊🇨🇭
Gabe thank you for your videos that the way I experience the world
Lunch in the mountains €25.
That is actually almost inexpensive, for Switzerland.
Brings back memories of my visit to the Jungfrau region in Lauterbrunnen. 😊
I can't think of any words good enough for that view!
Have a swim in the river Aare in Bern!!!
This view was my favorite of the 3 gondola trips for you
Yeah, great adventure again in the alps🎉
Definitely some stunning views in Switzerland. Safe travels Gabe 😃👍 lol @ Milk
Gornergrat is where Mark Twain’s famous crawling to the summit of the hotel steps takes place. Cableway from Gornergrat to Stockhorn is well worth it
Stunning ❤
You really did well at altitude, kudos for your fitness level!
I rode the Gonergrat train last year and hiked down part of the way. Epic.
Another epic video bro! Wow! Love that weather!
A lifetime adventure 😍😍
Loving your Swiss videos ❤

Go to mountain Gurten in Bern. You can walk up (45 mins.) or take a little train - spectacular view of Bern from up there! Enjoy, it's my hometown! 😊
Great, thanks for the tip.
Impressive Gabriel, best wishes you have sent with love ❤
Iv been there lovely 😍

Coincidence while watching your video, opened a Belgian Tongerlo blond beer and the same happened to me. Cheers!
Another fab day in the Alps
You can get the train direct from Zermatt to go
Amazing

great views dude!
Eiger Sanction cold opening.
Gabe deserves all these decent night stays. He spent a lifetime working at this. Bravo sir
Those goats were clearly paid actors
Really sweet goats lovely views Gabe 👍❤
Gabe I was wondering is breathing more labored in those high altitudes? You seem like you are well adjusted to it.
I noticed it just a little bit, but 10,000 feet isn't too high for me. Depends on the person, some people have difficulty above 8,000 feet or so.
@GabrielTravelerVideos OK thanks for taking us to that lovely place.
Please go to Tibet. Hmm i don't know if this is possible and if you have freedom to hike there.

Yes, it might have been a good idea. I didn't know how long I would stay and didn't realize how many gondolas I would end up taking.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos Keep the great work up
Super 👍👍👍
As a 'matter' of fact he's obsessed with this mountain. Let's hope he's got it out of his system once and for all !
I just got a go pro. I filmed a little in Quebec Canada. Did you have any trips or falls while filming ? I find that worry some.
Is it customary to leave a tip [when eating at a restaurant] in Switzerland?
I'm not clear on that. I read online that 10% was normal, but when you pay with a credit card it doesn't give the option to leave a tip. Maybe a local can answer this one.
Tip is included in Switzerland. Usually, you round up the bill or you can give a little more if you are really happy with the service.
Hey were you sponsonsored byt the swiss tourism organization? It hust be so expensive there.
So far it doesn't look any more expensive than the US. You would spend more in Florida with nothing to see.
@@waitaminute2015I would say that Caribbean is always sg to see.
Gabriel, is it necessary to. Purchase a Swiss railway travel Pass when travelling in the alps?
No, you can buy each ticket individually if you want.
Bern? Oh Jesus :-)
hello , sorrry it would be better to wear the right shoes - perhaps hiking shoes 😜
Gabe, I can't believe that no one has recognized you around Zermatt.
The PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS 😅
Oh no! A delicious Schneider Weisse no less ! 😢
oh ok, fourth..where are the subtitles today? they really help me with my spelling.🙄✌💙
I must say, Im swiss but I wouldn't pay that price for the gondola even I could afford it. Total crazy prices. 😕
Somehow video of the Matterhorn never gives its real size justice....it looks way bigger in real life...even from Zermatt it dominates the view
nah that was not alcohol abuse, instead of Gabe pouring some for the homies the heavens decided to take their own sip. CHEERS!
"He was a wise man who invented beer." -Plato
man, everything is awesome but swiss prices...
I could easily eat 100 EUR and be hungry afterwards...
*That beer scene is sus.*
There was a whole crew involved in producing this one. It took fifteen takes to get the beer fizz just right.
The red train
❤️👍❤️
Fuck me it's expensive! 14:26
Third, i think 🤔
You got it.
35 bucks for a beer and sausage? Highway robbery, hehe.
Second..🤠
