- Frankel crowns a glorious juvenile season with Group One victory in the foremost two-year-old race in Europe, the Dewhurst Stakes over sevewn furlongs on the Rowley Mile at Newmarket.
In what was billed as the juvenile 'race of the century' beforehand featuring runaway Group One Middle Park Stakes winner Dream Ahead and wide-margin Group Two Champagne Stakes scorer Saamid, Frankel was the third top-class unbeaten colt in the mix in a small and select field for this prestigious race with a spectacular roll of honour.
Frankel made some fine opposition look ordinary for trainer Sir Henry Cecil, jockey Tom Queally and owner Prince Khalid Abdulla and Juddmonte. - Спорт
I'll never be, your beast of burden!! LOL. What a fucking horse!! Frankel's like a fine wine. Gonna keep getting better and better with age!!
Handsome, classy, royally-bred horse named after, fittingly, the RHONY Bettheny.
wow wow wow pure class
Did you put that big bet on?
LOL, I decided this was a race that I'd just be a spectator and ended up not backing anyone. But I also remember thinking that Dream Ahead had a big chance to beat Frankel in this race after the way he had ran in the Middle Park Stakes just prior. I, too, was young and foolish then, LOL.
Not bad considering he hated the Newmarket hill
I wish the RUK could sort out the videos, everyone I have watch has had a horrible stutter to them.
Very hard to enjoy a race when it's this laggy!
Very poor quality
Thye said it was doubtful whether Frankel would train on or improve much at 3, as he was such a gross 2yo. LOL
Cruises like Nijinsky
i always get him confused with....
Del Boy "Arkle"
Frankel was good here, but dream ahead ran pounds below his middle park form.... really shouldn’t have sent him out again, the Newmarket victory looked facile, but they all take something out of the horse...
Would like to see what would of happened if Frankel had been in that race..
That's always been my point, the race was made much easier when his chief threat flopped.
Whenever Frankel raced Dream Ahead, Frankel would have won.
@@mrvillan6951 Dream Ahead ran way below this best in the Dewhurst and he didn't really stay a mile, 6 and 7 furlongs was his best distance.
@@nightowl7459 Of course Dream Ahead was below his best form in the Dewhurst, which is a 7 furlong race. At his best, over 6 furlongs he may have made Frankel race. Anything further and it would have been another impressive Frankel win.
@@mrvillan6951 I totally agree, Dream Ahead was probably better over six furlongs, but he did actually win a group one race over seven furlongs at Longchamp as a three year old, he certainly should have been at least second in the Dewhurst even if seven would have been stretching his stamina at that stage.
WANKEL
I bet you thought of that all by yourself, idiot.
