- Turning Red is possibly one of the most divided Pixar movies to scratch the surface: is it good or nah (ha ha reference)? Opinions can be thrown everywhere, especially those on caleb, but lets listen to a guy that took 8 pages of notes on turning red and what he has to say (me).

Another great review. Now as a woman who had to live as a cringy teenage girl before, I can honestly tell you I did not like Turning Red. There were parts of it I can relate too, and parts I found funny, but overall I felt the movie was clunky and did not hold up. I'll have to go back and rewatch it, but It was mid to me.

Turning Red’s soundtrack is currently the only Ludwig Gorranson soundtrack I have.

I myself enjoyed the film for what it was, a lot of it was cringe but accurate to real life and funny LOL
PS The “controversy” surrounding this film with the “period” talk was ridiculous and waaaaaay overblown. Most young children likely wouldn’t understand it and it’s addressed in a very subtle and well written way.
Yeah! I actually really like the movie to, but in terms of other Pixar movies, it's hard to compare.
The controversy surrounding it, although understandable that it exists (because what doesn't have drama anymore), really bugs me because people don't seem to understand that it was there for comedic relief. If they want to be mad about comedic relief, go back to Toy Story 2 when Buzz puts out his wings. That's something to complain about if we follow those rules.... Oh well. People will be people.

Trust me! I enjoyed this movie a ton. It was actually super fun to analyze; another friend and I took like 8 pages of notes on it and we just made a night out of it. I'm happy you can see my view too, that's really neat!
I'll be at 2 million soon, just give me like a week or two.

Turning Red was never a good movie for me. I watched it with my family and it was some of the most awkward moments of my life.
Tell me about it! I watched it in one of my classes at my school when it came out because my teacher was interested.
It. Was. Horrible.
We all cringed about it together.
Of course after analyzing it’s gotten slightly better but watching it with other people is bleh 🤮🤮🤮

Goodness, that's a rip. It baffles me because there was no point in bringing it up except for comedic relief, which ultimately backfired because it just made it awkward if you were watching it with the wrong people.@@TheDrawingGirl13
