Honestly, a cactus xp farm is a really good choice as a "background" farm, where you do other tasks and then it piles up.
Also works great when for example, afking at another xp farm and this is in the spawn chunk, because it's extra xp
The best way I found to get XP was a potato farm. You would cook up a single or double chest of potatoes and fill up everything with cooked potatoes. So the bottom chest and hopper. Once you have done that then the XP farm is ready. Next you would cook one potato and gain around 22 levels of XP. I used this method all the time and it's the best way to obtain xp

@@catcakeOwO Look up auto potato farms, then look up bamboo super smelters. A little tweaking and you can get an xp bank. This is easier to set up than a cactus xp bank.
Should still work in 1.18, YOu may need to modify it though

What about raid farms? Since the mobs from them are on the highest exp drop list, I'd bet that it's a good one to consider on this topic.
yes, but you don't get the ravager xp normally due to the way most raid farms work, and i haven't found one that let's you get ravagers. However, with a stacked raid farm(summoning multiple raids per cycle for improved rates), you can get lots of xp. Not sure how it ranks though
@@basmbee4325 you can use nether portals to get the ravages through, but raid farms in general r nowhere near guardian/endermen farms in terms of XP bcz of the spawn mechanics

the problem ia you, cant afk in a raid farm because there i no way to automatically hit mobs (F3+T doesnt work)
@@raifegeozay687 you can bind the attack function to space bar or any other key and the use something to hold down that key
My personal favorite xp farm that i built in my survival world is the dark room pit fall. Its super easy to build, and doesn't require super rare items like mob spawners to build.

For breeding, use chickens, they drop eggs, which when thrown out of a ejector block 1 space from a cobblestone wall spawn baby chickens. I built on which twice per day uses water to wash the eggs into a line of hoppers that load a minecart which them fills the Hatcher. Starting with one chicken it takes about 20 game days to breed up to several hundred chickens.
I built one with a dispenser to hatch the eggs, and a water elevator to feed the chicks back into the main chamber. It'd lagging you out if you got close, but would supply a metric crapload of feathers.
Simply use hoppers to collect the eggs, a dispenser to hatch them, a water elevator to return the baby chicks to the main chamber, and a trapped hen to lure chicks towards the elevator.

The other day I had cured a zombie villager who converted to a Butcher job; quickly got them to Master and they were offering emeralds for _only 3 berries each_ initially (cut from 10 berries base)
I now have over 2 stacks of emeralds, it's great
ikr honestly i basically run a pure trade economy in my minecraft world now😂 basically i build farms of the easiest tradable itemd then sell my wares en mass to the villagers whome i also cultivate to have great trades on food, tools, potions ingredients and enchants. i basically never mine for diamond anymore i just trade for any diamond tool or armor that i need etc
Each time I trade with them I get out from 0 to 40 levels

My personal way is using a auto smelter, and putting pressure plates by the hoppers. That way ALL the previous xp is retrieved. (OP for enchants)

Best way I’ve found is to make an auto smooth stone smelter , run it full time for a while , then remove the hoppers and manually collect some smelted blocks , it’s xp on demand and an insane amount of it too , I stand around level 90 full time
You don't need to remove the hoppers, you can just lock them with a redstone signal.
Easiest way would be to put a lever right on the furnace. When you flip it on, the hopper bellow will lock and will not pick items up. Take a couple of items manually, and then flip it off.
So Technoblade getting 200 levels legitimately on DreamSMP is now alot more impressive than I thought before...
Edit: For those who dont know, he used a spider spawner to achieve this

I play on Bedrock edition, and trident killers are really over powered on that version. So I would use either a gold farm(I use the one by Navynexus), or a guardian farm(the one made by SilentWisperer). They are really good and give some nice drops.

I haven't done my gcse's and i understood the formula perfectly well.
i use a zero tick kelp farm funnelling into 8 smokers. this gives me a ton of xp and i use the dried kelp blocks obtained from it to make it self sufficient. i’m constantly at at least level 100!

I learned that it’s actually possible to have 2 of your wanted books with only 1 villager, I have a mending + prot 4 villager and I’m sure you can have any 2 books you want if you have enough time and determination

Does anyone remember a group of guys called "KraftCraft"? They were big when I was in highschool back in 2013 but I can't seem to find anything on them. They were famous for minecraft but also eating only Kraft mac n cheese....I Kno what you're thinking but it was a simpler time. But as the years went on some members came out saying they were getting sick of Kraft and wanted to eat other foods, so the leader kicked them out and that was the last I remembered. They had a pretty cool survival series where this one guy would build a huge tree and have an arena inside of it. 🤷🏼♂️

I made a large cactus farm, i then found a village and forced them to breed, Then made a shepard who can trade green dye. Im not far enough into the game to make enderman farms and the like so i'll make do with my little budget farm and village. It's a start :)

( Finja que tem um nome aqui ) Since a full netherite beacon requires 5904 netherite scraps, and that a single block of ancient debris gives a static two experience, he has earned 11,808 experience. With an assumption of him having no levels, that would accumulate to 67 levels with extra left over. It's good that ancient debris gives a whole number worth of experience, or the calculations would be hell.

in bedrock, you can have a hopper, chest, and smoker farm where you let potatoes cook and fill up in the chest. Once enough potatoes collect, you start getting more experience. In my old smp, i died in the void and needed levels. I went from level 0 to 30 with 1 potato.

trading with villagers actually gives quite a lot of XP. it's probably the easiest way to get XP, and even rivals enderman farms for convenience when repairing mending gear if you have a decent village trading hall

you can farm cactus with a huge farm, while Also faeming Guardians so after you kill Guardians you go take stuff from the furnace and get idk how much xp per hour but i think a lot
In Bedrock, my world usually stays on peaceful, and fishing with a maxed out fishing rod at night while it's raining gets me a constant stream of catches, so it's pretty good for getting xp 👌

it's quadratic over an interval, then higher exponents. which is closer to exponentially than any single exponent, but not quite as bad.

What I HAVE ALWAYS loved about Minecraft is simplicity of the mechanics and coding in the game it’s figuring out how to abuse mechanics like in real life with our Manufacturing farms for cows and chickens so IMO Minecraft and the progression to automate everything is pretty close to real life

If anyone is still considering what farm to build to get XP, I would suggest building a *zombie pigmen farm.*
It takes you to around level 30 in less than min. And is fairly simple to build, apart from collecting the materials, which can take some 3 - 4 hours. And the building itself will again take another 3 - 4 hours. But it's definitely worth it.
Would recommend a lot of work to build and requires access to nether roof for best efficiency but definitely worth the effort
Answer:get a repeating(purple)command block,right-click it and type /summon expwrience_bottle or xp_bottle and then put a redstone block close to it(in bedrock edition it repeats like a billion times faster)

Since the villager upgrade, trading is super op in terms of exp. Imo, it's better than an enderman farm for 1-40ish levels, so that's usually more handy than an enderman farm, since you can do it waaay earlier and can be near your base. You'd have to cure them a couple times tho.
Trading is very good mid game, when you mostly have tons of renewable resources. Endermen farm are very simple to build and generate far more XP than trading, but villagers are very good especially if you also use them for enchanting.
