@@chiarafrancisco5389 That was not the intended direction for the show to go. So there was no indication that he was in love with Peyton until they had to throw it in in S4. It changed because of Sophia and Chad’s real life divorce.

Oh gtfo!!! This is a brucas video so go away! I ship both couples but Leyton was only endgame because chad/sophia broke up which was obvious as fuck in s4 because that shit was so forced!! Hikarie Burton said brucas + jeyton were the intended endgames, but chopia divorcing made that impossible, nark actually said something similar in 2015 & said they had to change the story out of respect for chad&sophia. Believe me or not but they said it not me but it was obvious in s4 that the divirce changed the storyline. He went from being so completely in love with Brooke to suddenly being in love with Peyton??? That was rushed, forced & so unbelievable.

Peyton was an emotionally needy character.. Lucas was a deprived character.. I guess that's how they ended up together. Both loved misery and vice versa.. It's funny in a way cz Nathan grew more in character. Whereas lucas became more deprived like Dan.
