This Rinnai Convector cleaning service is way too simplified and many important things have been omitted Firstly all this is better done with a vacuum cleaner and a paint brush. You can use a wet cloth to give a final and thorough clean after all the loose dust have been vacuumed out. Its especially important to loosen and remove dust stuck to the fan blade using a paint brush whilst sucking the dust out with a vaccuum cleaner at the same time. Or use a cleaning nozzle with a long bristle brush end. You should have mentioned cleaning the removable filters on the back - ultra important! Would be very useful to know how to get inside the heating chamber and clean in and around the jet as the 2 side vent holes in the jet fill with dust which is a major cause of ignition and poor flame issues. If you get a chance please edit or redo this video to include all these.
?? Rinnai Model EX11CP # hE.AB-005204 ?? i have manual which says remove 5 screws, to remove front panel to clean, however it doesn't show where the 5 screws are located ?? It is a wall unit and I do not want to disconnect it from the wall . Any thoughts?
@@aspecialvisitjust wiping the dust off of the bottom won’t do much for you. Did you notice how much dust and dust was on the blower wheel? That needs to be cleaned off more than anything but get it all so you don’t throw it off balance. The extra weight on the wheel causes wear. Vacuum off all of it while it’s apart. Unplug it first though.

Absolutely useless to do only what was shown in the video.
What is recommended to do for a Rinnai?
