Meet Tyrese the Southern Hairy-nosed Wombat

Billabong Zoo is home to two species of wombat, the Common Wombat and the Southern Hairy-nosed Wombat just like Tyrese here.
The Southern Hairy-Nosed wombat is facing a number of threats in their habitat, but did you know there are three wombat species in Australia? Unfortunately, the third species; the Northern Hairy-nosed wombat, is critically endangered.
