I cannot even find in my own ignorance the descriptive words to express the absolute internal beauty, genius, and overall genuineness of this wonderful man. I was touched to the heart and learned more from him in this 5 minute interview, than I’ve ever learned from anyone else, or as an instructor in professional development could have ever have hoped to articulate to any group I might be instructing about the importance and impact of words. Mr. Irons thinks and speaks on an entirely heightened level few people in history past, present, or future might ever attain to.
I would respectfully kneel before this man just out of sheer honor if I were ever privileged to be in his association.

Life in front of the camera/screen is some kind of satisfaction I can't really explain. I want to spend most of my time on earth acting. Passing important messages out and expressing myself in the character being played. Make the character relatable, enjoyed, loved and modelized. I'm open and available for any role and movie.

Excellent interview, this. Jeremy is so rich with wisdom and just how to do things right. This should be shown in all schools, much less all drama schools

The guy doesn't introduce the segment, or introduce what he's even talking about. He just blurts out a question and Jeremy just sort of stands there looking at him for a bit before he answers.

If you’re gonna do a movie version of Doctor Who look no further than Jeremy Irons.
Give him the keys to the Tardis.

He's right about the screen folks. Youngsters and a bit above, they can't focus, or communicate. It's getting very sad.

Jeremy Irons is being played by Daniel Day Lewis here. I keep expecting him to drink my milkshake.
I do understand the essence of what he is trying to convey, however it's a little out of touch. Kids DO learn to convey thier thoughts and feelings through words. Every other person want's to be either a Rapper or a UA-camr. It's a little part of chasing fame, like acting is, but it fundamentally about broadcasting thier thoughts and debating issues in thier way. Less people are taking up theatre because UA-cam fills that desire to be heard. Theatre is an outlet, it's fun, it's roleplay. It's for a fleeting second becoming another person. It is important because it encourages empathy. The feeling of being in the other guy's shoes. It's not generational. You fall into the same old cycle. The screen Generation, I do agree with is stifling real world engagement to an extent, but children are arguably more extrovert than they ever were under boarding school latin classes.
