That Rotax 150 is an outboard trying to be a stern drive either out a MerCuriser or an outboard on it I like the concept if not having an outboard hanging off the back of the boat or inboard motor cover in the way but not for me there’s pros and cons for boating just like anything else if it works for you then go for but I don’t think the average consumer is gonna want that
Just watched some videos on the Rotax engine....I guess it is the same people that made Evinrude & had problems with that engine. I love the form factor, looks like the future for deck boats. Maybe it will take Yamaha or Suzuki to make one & have it be a four stroke. I have Hurricane with a Yamaha 200 & would love all the stern space back where the engine cowling sticks up. Wonder how you flush it. Great video!
Definitely not the same designers of the ET when maintain properly the ET was actually really good motor. This was a group of 20 something year old designers from a whole different division of BRP and they flopped and made a horrible disgusting product.

Starting at 47K... I wonder how much with everything on it, guessing over 100k. Depending on what engine you put on it.
Manitou used to be a name at the top of the pontoon food chain, but not sure they’re still there after being acquired by BRP.
Manitou with twins is awesome if you feel like dropping almost 200k…
What makes it a Rotax? Is it a brand or style of engine?
It's like a model from BRP, they make a Rotax aircraft engine, and they have a design that they call the Rotax, there might be more to it than that, but that's the jist of it
Rotax makes the engine for SkiDoo’s snowmobile’s SeaDoo motors just to name a few
'PONTOON CAPTAIN'... Like a regular Captain, but more drunkeror.
