All is so just, captivating ; the music, the voice of Nick Cave, between whisper and power, the rhythm melodic and distressing at the same time; the dark ambiance of the clip, with the charismatic silhouette of Nick Cave. A jewel....🙋‍♀️🇨🇵

A variety of styles, usually about murder and disposal of the body/ies, This song reminds me of Tom Waits in his more lyrical woods. I couldn't help thinking the punter in the video was Boris Johnson. The Ohio Express quote is unsettling.

Such a brilliant track. One of the rare artists who has possibly got better with age. Cheers Stuart

I remember a Nick Cave song in which a young girl kills him, sung of course, by PJ Harvey (and Nick). I don't recall any song from THAT album be covered either here or Into the Music.

The closing passage of the recording of this doesn't quite achieve the lift off that the live version does. Would recommend tracking down a live video of this being performed live. The closing minutes are, for want of a better word, furious. Great song from a great album by a great artist.

Wild God's awesome as well and it's inspiring to hear Cave having gone through a lot of grief and come through.
I think it's worth shouting out his website and Red Hand Files for some kind and thoughtful fan-interaction. Some of his thoughts on grief and coping have been helpful. Got to say, I find Ghosteen unlistenable - it's just too much - and that's not a fault, but it's overwhelmingly heavy and came at a bad time in my life.

The "Live From Copenhagen" version is arguably better, but what do I know?
