That 6" exterior shield can also serve as the retaining wall to build up the interior floor level to prevent water collection, as you mentioned.
I understand the frustration but it’s just something our wives have to learn. They were raised with little money, don’t talk about money, save, save, save so we have to explain, (like you did to Mel) the whole picture and why? They never plan ahead they think right now don’t get me wrong. I love her right to death. I’ve been involved with the family for three years and now they finally don’t make any decisions without running things by me sometimes they have better ideas than myself, sometimes they don’t. Sounds like Melinda is becoming Westernized...but, what can you do James, keep her in the house like a traditional Filipina or you might as well have a Western woman thinkin she is in charge!!! You gotta keep her in her lane!!! LOL
No I would not go that far. Melinda is a equal member on this team and marriage but we MUST stay in our own lanes and respect each other in important matters. I would never do that to her. I have a lifetime of business management and working employees. She has none. She is learning though and she makes me proud all the time. She is stubborn as hell though!!! LOL
You have a lot to learn about the phils. Leave Mel alone as its not just your money as its hers as well as your married so its 50.50. You should be ashamed of yourself putting it on u tube
He's running a UA-cam channel putting his life out there. It's not all sunshine and roses. He's just giving a glimpse of the daily battles of the cultural clashes. Just because Filipinas don't like public shaming from "saving face" otherwise know as lying, doesn't mean us western men tuck our balls everytime. Pick and choose your battles. Filipinas that also choose to be with western men must also meet in the middle. It can't be just the man always lowering down, she must also rise up to meet in the middle. All these western men getting there "dream" woman in the Philippines will find out after the honeymoon period is over that it comes with a cost like everything else in life. There's a 2nd layer of cultural differences you were not ready for. And it slowly but surely irritates you until it's an open infected deadly wound. Being with a Filipina is a death by a thousand cuts vs the death blows by a western woman. It's impossible to please a modern day western woman. A good Filipina will spend most her effort trying to please her man but unfortunately with her cultural differences she will many times do the opposite. And there's nothing more stubborn in this world than a Filipina. I could go on and on but this message would take forever. But any REAL man whose experienced living in the Philippines with a good Filipina already knows what I'm talking about and trying to convey. Anyone else is clueless. When you speak on that you have no wisdom of, and then expect others to follow as a rule, then that makes you a fool.
I just hope James did not say these exact words to his wife @12:30 “ am the one footing the bills for all of this “ that’s low you don’t tell a wife that. What’s worst is James should have made things clear in the very beginning about that work crew… if he wanted them to take orders for him only, and not Mel,, am giving him a big L, on this one, it’s wrong, disrespectful, and more to be-little your wife.
Maybe you're new here, but this sort of thing has happened before, and James has been very clear about it. He has his construction crew, and Mel has a crew as needed for her side of the business. This would be like James going in and letting her crew go right in the middle of operations and not saying anything to Mel before he did it. And speaking of being belittled, have you considered how these things make James look in front of his crew? Probably not, sounds like you're quick to have feels for the women, they're always the victim right?
Ask the family / work crew their opinion on it. They was not happy on her choice and they thought she was just informing them of my decision they did not know it was her only doing this. You can big L me all you want. Real life not Fantasy land
@@Rdkng07 The crew is not who he sleeps with at night, second it’s the choice of words he used, third there is a lot of things that James is doing that is not right, but it’s his business, however as a man, Any husband who is abusive, disrespectful, or otherwise belittling to his wife is defying the will of God-period, and you will be held accountable is my point,

Be careful, now your embarrassing her find yourself with nothing before you know it😂
We don't have a weak relationship like that and Melinda is not so sensitive. We cover real life not fantasy land or always happy happy happy because those are fake fake fake
Sounds like Melinda is becoming Westernized...but, what can you do James, keep her in the house like a traditional Filipina or you might as well have a Western woman thinkin she is in charge!!! You gotta keep her in her lane!!! LOL
I agree with James…..
Wives should be seen not heard…😊
No I would not go that far. Melinda is a equal member on this team and marriage but we MUST stay in our own lanes and respect each other in important matters. I would never do that to her. I have a lifetime of business management and working employees. She has none. She is learning though and she makes me proud all the time. She is stubborn as hell though!!! LOL
@@TexasFilipino The agree with James again …..
Wives are like cars, keep them in their lanes …😆
I can understand both sides Regarding your Rant but I would of preferred to keep it to yourself rather than let us know of such....
You have a lot to learn about the phils. Leave Mel alone as its not just your money as its hers as well as your married so its 50.50. You should be ashamed of yourself putting it on u tube
I have a lot to learn? Maybe its not me that needs to learn and FYI I have spent half of my adult life here
He's running a UA-cam channel putting his life out there.

PREACH!
He was irritated, just blowing off steam. A good wife will overlook it.
@@Rdkng07 The crew is not who he sleeps with at night, second it’s the choice of words he used, third there is a lot of things that James is doing that is not right, but it’s his business, however as a man, Any husband who is abusive, disrespectful, or otherwise belittling to his wife is defying the will of God-period, and you will be held accountable is my point,
@@TexasFilipino James, I only know you from your videos, that said it’s not about the crew, not about what Mel, said or did, it’s
Really your choice of words, your a good dude,
Your blessed, your respected by many, you are definitely making a difference in the life’s of all the people around you, old and young that’s what GOD adores, how you treat your woman is also what GOD adores, am sure Mel does not want for nothing, you cannot give her.. Mel is
One of the good ones, don’t make her feel like
She’s beneath you.. your better than that… is all am really saying, as men we sometime get hot headed and not think about what we have been blessed with… keep up the good work. 🙏🏾
I can’t believe you chastised or complained about your asawa in the public. That is so disrespectful, and you as a Texan should know better.
You’re overly sensitive, and maybe new to the internet.
I can't believe public UA-cam channels are public.
That's the point !!
Mel is awesome, but we are all mere mortals. The video sends an important message.
Don't assume that communication is as good as you think it is, it's as good as you make it.
This is real life not fantasy land. If your that kiss butt then you are just a simp as they call it. Mel and I deeply love each other and we are real not pandering to sensitive emotionally weak people.
@@TexasFilipinowell said. I didn’t think anything of what you said. It was fine and respectful.

Very cool chicken coop or house which ever lol. I like it alot blends in well Kuya. Man the only way to stop the Dogs is to stop the dogs if you gather what I mean and I'm a dog lover so I don't say this lightly. You said the Dogs rip a hole in the fence to get into the chicken yard well they will probably dig under the bamboo fence to get into the coop . I hope you can get your work crew back together quickly . Oh no I hope its not a case of onward & upward over throw the King lmao 😂.
