In reality pal, the cat and dog is the stereotype. Many of them are best buddies. My godfather was having the Boxer and that cat and they were always together.
They used to live together, it's pretty obvious! Missy was a stray, right? So is Pumpkin. Whatever happened happened, and both became homeless. Then the cat found her again. There's no miracle here, they grew up together, and found each other again :)
Oh my god!! Pumpkin!! This is our neighborhood cat. My mother sent me this and I was like.. “Wait.. PUMPKIN?!” He’s always so sweet to us when we walk by and see him. He will roll over on the concrete and start purring, he’s so adorable. When I first saw him while walking, I named him Marmalade, not knowing he had a name, later I saw his owner outside watching him and I asked, “What’s his name??” and his owner replied with “Pumpkin!” When me and my mother go for our night walks, we see him laying down in the bushes, and when he sees us, he goes crazy!! He’s so sweet❤
That's so cool! He definitely seems like a super-friendly critter - not surprised he's been befriending the neighbourhood as well! 😄 Marmalade tabbies are definitely special, they always seem to have an extra helping of character & sociability in my experience? 😋
I've seen some videos with shy dogs who didn't bond or identify with other dogs, but immediately bonded with a cat. They became inseparable. Missy and Pumkin make me feel so good. Thank you for loving them so much. ❤❤
One of my dog is very scared of other dogs (she is scared of pretty much everything), but she was fascinated with our cat. You could tell that our cat was the boss of our dogs, so our dogs would just sit near him, tails wagging, grateful to be in his presence.

Pumpkin's a full-service friend too, from emotional support to grooming to sharing snacks!! 😆 Always love to see these mutually supportive interspecies bonds, & they provide so many entertaining and positive moments for their human companions too. There was a feral dog that my old neighbor had where I grew up and he would bark and growl at everyone but when my kitten that I rescued from the streets got out and approached the dog the dog layed down and started licking her and cuddling up to her and ever since that day I let her out to go see my neighbors dog and the dog became a little puppy around her😊
Clearly they are soulmates. It took the human (who is a very nice man) a little longer to understand that. The walking together is priceless. I have seen kittens adopting people, but a full grown cat is even more interesting. I wish this charming family every happiness.

I've had a couple of pitbulls and they both loved cats. Snuggle, groom, play. The dogswere very gentle with the kitties. It was a very surprising thing, a sweet thing.
I love this story. I call the cats licking the top of the head The Blessing. It is a special gift given to the most special friends. I have 10 cats and a German shepherd dog and have been studying Cat Politics for years. It’s a beautiful thang. 😸
The fact that pumpkin drops food for lily to eat truly amazes me . Animals are driven by the natural instinct to survive . But sharing their food like this it shows they are very sensitive animals 😊

Missy may have had bad experiences with other dogs. We can't know why, but their bond is a joy for each other, their family, and now us.
