Hi! I love Cobra! I am a serious fan. In fact, the Jane Royal illustration you show is of my creation! it is not original Japanese art. Don´t wory, it is OK to use it. This is one of my favorite animations of all times. The Rough Ball chapters and The Captain Nelson Royal Daughters series are my favorite stories. But Salamander is also very good. The technology of this series is a weird Sci-Fi. It is different from anything else. It obviously has Star Wars elementes, but it goes beyond. I love Terbash the plant guy, with his 3 dimension satellites and the way Cobra finally gets to him. What a thrill it was to watch this series for the first time back in 1986 or 87. I was 12. I recorded it on VHS Tape and did drawing after drawing with the VHS on pause. My parents almost killed me! hahahaha
Had all the episodes on VHS all the way until the Rough Ball episodes which are awesome, but I always loved the Nelsons treasure episodes the most. Yeah the Satellites are cool on Terbash that counters any energy weapon fired from a certain distance gotto owe it to Duck that gets his head blow right by the psycho gun.
