I have THOUSANDS of Ball Pythons, let’s take a look at some of my Adults!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 лют 2024
- Ball pythons are a personal favorite at NERD, the variation from snake to snake is incredible. It’s all about selective breeding and genetic diversity and a bit of know-how!
This is the kinda video ya gotta make more often... no bs just snakes and hearing your passion! Please post more like this!
Been waiting yrs for this video. The only collection I want to see more than Justin's. We need weekly videos like this
That would be absolutely awesome if we could get weekly videos like these!!!
His animals are just some simple codom combos. Nothing compared to Justin's
You think this is better than Justin’s collection?😂
Not to mention a lot of it is made b4 he makes it he just adds yellowbelly
@@deebz22 that’s crazy. Justin is the goat Kevin’s “proprietary” don’t even hold a candle. Justin works with almost every recessive and his theoretical ids are much more facts based then this everything hgw super fader which most people believe fader isn’t even a real gene 😂
Bubblegum videos are so authentic and natural ... so much fun to watch! Blood pythons next please!!!
You have gorgeous snakes. This video reminds me of Brian Barczyk and how passionate he was about pretty snakes. Definitely make more videos like this with ball pythons, reticulated pythons, monitors, everything you have. I don't own any reptiles, but I have a great appreciation for them as someone in southern AZ where reptiles are everywhere.
It is always so strange to see so large animals kept on a shelf in a small drawer. I don't know much about snake keeping, but this surprises me the most - every time you show them.
They really shouldn't be. The recommended enclosure size for an adult ball python is a 4' x 2' x 2' so they have space to fully stretch out and move around with at minimum two hides and a water bowl large enough to soak in. Keeping snakes in a rack like that is inhumane.
they shouldn't be but the breeders convince themselves it's fine
Question ? Have you ever eaten chicken? Do you eat Chicken? Are you aware of how chickens make it to your plate. Are you aware how smart a chicken is? Do you know what type of small cages they exist in? Have you ever seen a truck filled with thousands of chickens on its way to the slaughter house? I fully support your Vegan ways!!!!!
@@NewEnglandReptile Yes, I'm a vegan. The fact that we torture chickens doesn't given you the right to torture snakes
At least throw a toilet paper roll in there for some enrichment for christ sakes, it's horrific
@@NewEnglandReptile I'm sorry, I didn't want to give space to an argument like this. I was just wondering about the sight of this.
Dude, Kevin yes! I want to see every snake! lol. Seriously this was awesome, please show us more of the amazing stuff hiding there.
I’m loving the newer raw videos! You speak with such passion. Keep it going I will definitely continue to follow.
Thank you! Will do! K
@@NewEnglandReptile I am waiting for one like this with your red tail boas.
What a relaxing walk through some of your collection. Thanks for taking time away from "taming the dragons" to remind me of the beauties you've created. Greatest appreciation ❤
My pleasure! K
Love getting a peek into the collection! So many beauties!!
Loving these bumble gum videos, keep it up!!!
Absolutely loving these videos Kevin...beautiful snakes . New format you are doing is the best 😊🙏🏻🙏🏻
Glad you like them! K
It's crazy your ball pythons look like absolutely nobody else's. I really love the Odium, Malum combos. People probably forget how you and Brian basically started the Ball Python craze and how most of the base genes were discovered by you! Awesome stuff! Snakes lizards and dogs rule!..... and guitars!
I love seeing all your collection! These are some of the coolest ball pythons I have seen in awhile!
Wow, Kevin! You’ve got BP lines I’ve never seen before and some I’ve never even heard of. What gorgeous BP’s!!
Yes it’s all my little secrets. K
❤❤I absolutely love this. You have the most beautiful snakes I've ever seen. Thank you so much for sharing them. I didn't know that you could make so many variations. I could happily spend all day going through and holding each one😁. It's just amazing 😍
I love the variety in balls! It's so incredibly impressive that you manage to keep track of all the genes and how they interact with each other.
Thank you so much! K
What a sad sight, obese snakes, tiny racks with no enrichment (some don't even have water bowls)
that comment shows that you know NOTHING about ball pythons.
I have never Loved Ball pythons just for the simple fact of how popular they are, but that's not to say you can't have some amazing looking snakes.
Seems like a ridiculous reason not to like something lol
@@myzislow ehhh not really. For example, I started to collect pair of snakes. I always look for amazing looking species (rhino viper, jungle carpet python, red-tailed rat snake) but I also want my snakes to be rare. So even tho I like all kinds of snakes I prefer to have those, who aren't very common in the reptile industry. It's mostly because if you successfully breed them, you can sell the young ones for a high price and also have some kind of certainty, that people will buy it quickly.
You don't have this warranty with breeding ball pythons 😁
@@krystofholub9135 sure you do, you just have to work with the right genetics.
@@krystofholub9135 not if you work the right genetics
@@krystofholub9135 The part that never made real seance to me is why they are so popular while being what some would call a disproportionate mess. Now to the point of breading I plan on breading Balls but only as a side project and also to bring more variety to my table at a show later down the road. I'll have 3-6 flavors of carpet pythons some plain some morphs and 2 flavors of Childrens pythons. Adding a couple Balls with genetics most of the other vendors don't bring gives a better chance at a sell.
This video was awesome. I like all of your videos, but was awesome to see some of your ball pythons. Keep it up please.
Definitely need more videos on the crazy genes you have!!!!!!
Beautiful snakes, and you’re so knowledgeable about them.
Love your videos, the love of your collections show in each video!! Thanks for sharing all your knowledge and beautiful creations!!
You are so welcome! K
Great video, these are the kinds of videos I enjoy! I’ve toured your collection many years ago and know you have some of the nicest animals in your facility. Definitely show more videos like this!
Amazing combos, enjoyed this and watching your hybrid breeding projects years ago.
This was great man love the stuff you make! My roommates and i just bought 3 of your snakes. They are wonderful!
Love love LOVE seeing your collection!! And videos where you share your knowledge!! Keep these up Kevin!! These are great! Thank you!!
Loved this video!!!! Enjoyed seeing SOME of your BP! They are all so beautiful!!!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed! K
I would love to see more of your ball python collection and more information about all your genetics you work with! Loved this video!
Love seeing all of your ball pythons Kevin.
Watch as the “bubble gum” videos start to become more popular than the “fancy” ones… 😂
Donnie can go. Lol jking/ but not...
Stunning! All of them 😊
Only you would start off with such rarely used morphs. Odium, fader, malum, lucifer. I havent even seen most of those in person and i breed! So cool. What an incredible collection. No such thing as a nerd video thats too long. Yes we want more ball vids!!
Thank you. K
Excellent video of some excellent snakes!! Lots of genes that are not made aware of regularly in the market or most breeders videos. This opens up a whole new world for me especially!! Thank you so much!!! I wish I had space and $ to nab some of these from you!!! I’m definitely going to rethink my direction and options going forward. I’ve recently purchased from you and my snake is doing Great!!! Thanks again!! 🐍😎🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
I enjoyed seeing all your snakes and I do hope you can find a way to get things better for you and if downsizing is what it's going to take that's okay. I love to see more of your snakes, keep the videos coming. Take care of yourself
Thanks for the show and tell Mr. Kevin!
Kevin, I'm really loving all of the videos you are kicking out. I love all reptiles but i would love a video like this but with your monitors. All the best!
I would too!!!!! I’m more partial to lizards, monitors…. Tortoises…… but can appreciate the patterns and colors in the snakes 😬 And Kevin’s just a great teacher on all of their behaviors, very helpful to those of us that want to raise healthy, content and sociable reptiles. It’s been really cool learning how to understand my reptiles better 👌
Kevin!!!!!! ❤ I LOVE THIS VIDEO! Fun and Exciting! Thank you for the Awesome Video! The Mojave Pastel GHI is BEAUTIFUL! Okay , so had to come back to edit there were too many I liked to name them all on here! Thank you again!
Love the videos, it would be great to get some deeper dives into your BP gene library, you're right that there's alot of your stuff that isn't being worked. Thanks Kevin
Yep. Love the show vids. More, please!
your upload makes my entire night after a long day of work, cheers kevin
Beautiful patterns and colors
Im excited to see them!! Thank you for showing
You obviously know what you are doing Kev, just curious don’t the snakes get bored in those containers? Just curious. Do snakes have a concept of boredom? Also I used to think you were like some snake gene knowing god, this video shattered that illusion for me when I saw that the tubs have what they are on the front lol. My favourite colours were at 10:58
Haaa haaaa. You always need to have a description on the front but I generally know each snake. When you are breeding you need to see the basic genes so you can imagine the combos you want. K
Bored. I would guess yes but they are constantly being managed etc. I think with such creatures meeting the basic needs is critical for their success. Would not deny letting them go in a room would be fun for them. K
@@NewEnglandReptileHow do you keep humidity up? Not even a hide??
@@pod6679the tub IS the hide, pitch darkness, they get food served up to them daily, they love their life and they wouldn’t be breeding if they didn’t
I love all the snakes shown. So many genes. I have only one 3 gene animal---a male calico YB, het for piebald. The rest of them are 2 gene animals. I love them all dearly. I have 8 ball pythons, and 2 bull snakes, caught in my area. The female is colored normally, the male is anery. I've had the male for 14 years, since a baby. The female I've only had for a couple years. They are both over 7 feet long.
Keep these videos comin Kevin 👌. I hope you are enjoying it too! You can tell by all the positive comments….. we love this 😜. So relax and enjoy! We are!!
More to come! K
Fantastic video!! Thank you. It is so helpful and appreciated to have a video where you get to see adults. Rarely does the adult phenotype get put on display. Much appreciated.
Always thought ball pythons where kinda boring just because they are a pretty basic pet, but Holy so many of those snakes are absolutely gorgeous
Thank you. K
Love the collection. Great video. Would love to see more.
I like your new videos a lot better. I’m not throwing shade at all. The older ones were really good too. Donny did a great job. I just like Kevin in his element. Keep it up!
Btw, look at all the snakes he has and how he’s randomly pulling draws and how clean enclosure is…..
I appreciate that k
@@NewEnglandReptile my pleasure
That mojave ghi pastel is GORGEOUS!!!
I love seeing the adult snakes because they look so different as babies. It's interesting to see how they look as an adult.
❤❤ all of your animals always look so healthy and amazing and they're always clean😊😊
Kevin, I have always wanted to see your ball python collection. And it has come to fruition. I loved seeing all your balls. Please keep this up and don’t give up on this channel, your facility, or yourself. I wrestle with depression as well, and it is only magnified by not being around my support system. Especially when it feels like everything is just going wrong. But I believe in you. I believe you’ll make it back on top and things can only get better.
Hey Kevin love the videos but yeah love seeing what projects you have going hate saying it reminds me of Brian's video and the passion he had for creating new stuff so keep it up
Thank you. I’m personally avoiding every Brian thing I can think
Of. It hurts me too much. K
Commenting mostly for the algorithm. Thanks for posting.
I live in Massachusetts, and I know people go super crazy for these multi-gene combos, but honestly I think the lesser gene is a pretty snake. If you had a pure single gene lesser on morphmarket, I would definitely consider driving up there to buy one.
I have them!!!!! Thank you. K
So bummed when this video ended lol. please do more like this.
New format rocks, calm and informative, chill, in my opinion much more fun and informative than the hyper produced stuff. Thank you.
Wish I lived near you guys just so I could volunteer for you. Just to play with the snakes and learn to take care of all these beautiful animals.
I'm so lucky to have Kevin and nerd only 40 minutes from me....
Hi Kevin,
I wanted to let you know why I appreciate you and enjoy your content. It's always so heartwarming to see the close relationship you have with your animals, and of course, wildlife too. I appreciate that you share your immense knowledge with us, so we can all be better keepers. I've learned so much from you, and because of you, I appreciate bugs now to the point that it's become a hobby for me. Best of all, you have a great personality, so whether I'm laughing or learning, your videos have always been fun and inspiring for me.
You've always had such a wonderful and uplifting impact on my life since I've known you. You've always been kind to me even though I'm deranged. You didn't see me as the monstrosity I always thought myself to be, but as a kind hearted person who loves animals. Your depression is so relatable for me, so when you share about how you cope with it, it helps me tremendously. You've helped lift me out of some deep depressions quite a few times and I am so grateful for it all. You've shown me that this world isn't only filled with darkness, that there's plenty to appreciate.
I've missed you Kevin, I'm truly sorry for my behavior towards you. Are you okay with giving me another chance? I've taken time to reflect, the last thing I want is to be a burden again, it's why it's taken me so long to reach out.
Hi. You are no monstrosity! Stop that. You are kind!!! Life is def tough on some of us…. Sigh. K
One day I'm going to come check out you place and you store ❤.... by the way .... would have have to setup an appointment to get a tour of your place or how would that work .... I'm just a normal person I'm not a youtuber or anyone with any kind of fame or anything... just a hard working blue colar foo that has a big passion for reptile and fish ( mainly freshwater fish ) 😐😁
Set up a tour or go
On one of our public tours. K
This is so cool . I love the morphs .
love you guys, great snakes, i certainly feel in my beliefs the adults are in way to small of enclosures but, no disrespect, I know we could argue forever, been in it 35 years, but personally i think you should dump a bunch then re do the racks and give the adults more room. I know, times are tough right now.
I'd love to see a revisit to the Tokay Gecko room. I was in love with that setup when you showed it.
Tokays are breeding. Just takes time. K
Yes, show more ball pythons!
I'm not a ball python person but you have some cool snakes. I like the ones with a stripe down their back and I like reduced patterns in general. The snakes with the very reduced pixelated patterns are beautiful. I like the videos you're doing.
Shockingly I don’t have a Ball yet. I liked the first dark one you showed, what a stunner!
I think Balls have become overpriced since I was younger but at my age what hasn’t. Keeping has changed as well.
Ball pythons are now incredibly cheap!!!!!!! K
I remember when pied ball pythons were over 10 grand. Now, you can find them for less than $1000.
A lot of the 3, 4 and 5 gene snakes are less than $1000. They used to go for 5 grand or more, easily.
I paid $50 for my first normal ball python 27 years ago (still alive and chill as ever). You can still find normals for $50.
Prices did go up during the pandemic, but have since come back down to pre-pandemic levels and are still dropping.
This video made my night!!! I only have 3 ball pythons but I want to get more. You have so many amazing snakes in your collection. Keep making these videos!!! 💚🖤💚
Love it I would love to see more of ur crazy stuff that only u have kevin u are awesome bye the way too me u are the 3rd person in my awesome category kevin, brian, and Steve Irwin all u guys are my heros people I inspire to be like love the content kev

Spectacular looking animals!
yess keep showing more snakes and lizards you have
had that little lemon pastel slow starter hatchling ball python you gave me in college decades ago for about 25 plus years and she produced some wonderful babies. was one of my favorite snakes.
Construction paper + water bowl + paper shavings.... What a way to live
Some beautiful snakes.
I loved the video. It was great man. I am just like other people. I would love to see more of your collection for me, especially the boa collection I mean I have a few ball pythons, but I follow you for your knowledge and to see as much of your collection as I can see. Oh, and I love that giant cage you built for the crock monitor. Oh my God dude that is fucking awesome. 😎
Ive been watching you for 15+ years when u had Ralph on board you were decades ahead of the competition back then.
Whole different level man.
Thank uuu. K
I have a diverse family of snakes, but still keep Ball Pythons. Each one is different with their own personality. Kevin has an interesting and beautiful collection. Really loved seeing them, such a treat. Really love these videos with Kevin's knowledge and snakes!
can you do more blood python videos pls , what happen to the gun smoke
Love the 2.0 bubble gum vids. Just like the classic ones
So many pretty snakes! ❤
10:56 You can make these videos hours long and I’d watch them! These snakes are gorgeous and I’d never get to see them if you didn’t show them! ❤
I'd love to see some similar show off bubblegum videos with your collection of boas. We need some more boa love next!
absolutely love this type of video. awesome to see all the snakes, really inspiring for my own breeding projects, and i hope we can have more!
I hope so too! K
What a cruel way to keep snakes... at least throw a toilet paper roll in those for some enrichment, jeez
I love this kind of video. It’s what got me watching you and Brian in the first place 🩶
Hi Kev. I'm hoping to pick up a Banana Specter POS OD Het Pied as my first snake. I'm sure I named it incorrectly. But either way, thank you for making me interested in the hobby. I'm hoping to put the money together soon before someone else picks up the snake I want. I fell in love with the light blue base color. The head and tail look like a normal green colored python, with what I can only describe as chocolate chip cookies going up the side. Its gorgeous to me. Thank you Kev.
Beautiful snakes! ❤ Love all the yellow combos, but your darker colored pythons had to be my favorite of this video!
You are the master of knowing your genes👌I remember Brian Barczyk being so impressed as well in a video you did togather❤ Loving this "just you and a camera".😊
Great video keepm goin
❤❤❤❤❤ you have some very beautiful snakes! Would love to see more of them
I love them all . Great job by you my friend
Beautiful snakes!!!
Those were some real chunky sneks. Beauties all. I love just seeing your snakes or monitors and listening to your commentary. Those were awesome specimens. ❤
Spent 2 hours watching your ball python videos you cool stuff no one has or is making
Some gorgeous ball pythons
I love the ball pythons
Bubble Gum Ball Python videos, showing off the possible morphs. very interesting.
