This is really real, I remembered I was in this position, I lied about my age since I was in primary school, and sec school I faced alot of pressure,so I lied I was 18 since jss1, jss2 still 18, jss3, 18, ss1 I was 19, ss2,20, ss3 21 while my real age in ss3 I was just 13, I couldn't cope, they call me the old woman in class believing that's my age, and some of them didn't believe that was my age but they believed I'm the oldest in class, tho now I'm a grown up lady, but I still haven't reveal my age to people. But thank God I could achieve what I've at those age, all thanks to God.

I can relate to Mike's story because at some point, my age bothered me. I even wanted to do a diploma in the university before a degree so I could finally match up with my mates 🤣🤣 My close friends were 16-20 year olds while I was 14 in 100 level. I was always honest about my age in school, with friends and in documents but with guys, I used to add 2 years and some would say I even look older and speak with maturity than the fake age 😃 I realised it was a gift. It's everywhere. I work with some ladies here in the UK that are not Nigerians or Africans that thought I was younger than them and treat me like that. Immediately we had a conversation around age and they knew we are all age mate, their attitude changed. The most important thing is to work on our self esteem not matter our age.

I added two years to mine and still couldn't retify it but I have made up my mind that I will contnue to use it like that on my certificates but whenever I am asked I will say the actual age, I actually have embraced it, people have asked and I say the actual age. I guess it was due to the fact that things was slow for me while growing, my parents handwork because I am the most brilliant among their children but finance was a major fact and their thinking pattern. Though up till now I look much more younger, like I even try to keep my beard and look rough to tell myself I am old, but guys I really look much younger when I decided to have a cut and freshen up. This is really real, I remembered I was in this position, I lied about my age since I was in primary school, and sec school I faced alot of pressure,so I lied I was 18 since jss1, jss2 still 18, jss3, 18, ss1 I was 19, ss2,20, ss3 21 while my real age in ss3 I was just 13, I couldn't cope, they call me the old woman in class believing that's my age, and some of them didn't believe that was my age but they believed I'm the oldest in class, tho now I'm a grown up lady, but I still haven't reveal my age to people. But thank God I could achieve what I've at those age, all thanks to God.
But some people will be like, you're stature is bigger than your age, but you have a Babyface

Really enjoyed your video. I had been looking forward to this video. What do you say to people who look small but are actually older. Sometimes they way we look physical is a big deal on whether or not we can publicly tell others about our relationship plans. They will quickly judge base on size or age even though the person is responsible.
This came at the right time mehn..I told someone of recent that young guys don't come to me..it's 4yrs upward. ..Im in a relationship with one that I didn't know his age at first ..I was surprised when I found out that he's 7yrs older..I was like huh. Now, he's now like agbalagba to me ( even though he don't look it) but I've look away bayii ( 5 yrs relationship). We will be getting married soon

God bless you both for sharing. Honestly, this age hiding /curiosity is Nigerian mentality. In Europe, eg., Italy, first thing an Italian asks you on meeting you for the first time is your name, 2ndly your age and finally, your nationality. He/she will also tell you his/her age. Woe to you if you lie about your age. Everything is done with your documents and any lie ruins you forever.

I can relate to Mike's story because at some point, my age bothered me. I even wanted to do a diploma in the university before a degree so I could finally match up with my mates 🤣🤣 My close friends were 16-20 year olds while I was 14 in 100 level. I was always honest about my age in school, with friends and in documents but with guys, I used to add 2 years and some would say I even look older and speak with maturity than the fake age 😃
I realised it was a gift. Paul's advice to Timothy that no one should despise his youth made a difference in my life.

It's everywhere. I work with some ladies here in the UK that are not Nigerians or Africans that thought I was younger than them and treat me like that. Immediately we had a conversation around age and they knew we are all age mate, their attitude changed. The most important thing is to work on our self esteem not matter our age.

In as much as there is the place of Physical maturity, True maturity comes from how much of God's word you can apply in every area of your Life, how much does the Holy Spirit have charge over you...God called David a Man after his own heart at age 15, God chose Mary to be the Mother of Jesus at such a young age.... and the Holy Spirit empowered her to display so much of Spiritual maturity at that stage of her Life. There is a indeed a Spirit in Man....that give us Understanding, wisdom, might, counsel, knowledge and so on...the earlier you submit to this SPIRIT, the faster you grow and mature... I added two years to mine and still couldn't retify it but I have made up my mind that I will contnue to use it like that on my certificates but whenever I am asked I will say the actual age, I actually have embraced it, people have asked and I say the actual age. I guess it was due to the fact that things was slow for me while growing, my parents handwork because I am the most brilliant among their children but finance was a major fact and their thinking pattern. Though up till now I look much more younger, like I even try to keep my beard and look rough to tell myself I am old, but guys I really look much younger when I decided to have a cut and freshen up. I look like 27, 28, while I will be 35 this November 21. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for sharing, you can't imagine how people respond to this age thing and expect some kind of respect from you if they realise you're younger. But the truth is, our age is part of our identity and its just a number. Can't remember if I ever had to lie about my age though but I look way younger than my age and I enjoy it. The most important thing is you're matured enough to know what you have to do per time and you are taking responsibilities. I'm proud of how far you have both come and i must say you guys are amazing as I always look forward to watching your videos.
