What disturbs me is the fact that they brought in the emergencies act when it came to countries most peaceful protest. Yet they’re allowing this travesty to go on.
What is astounding is that the same Ottawa residents that were against the truckers seem to think that there is nothing wrong with these protests and are silent. The Truckers did not wilfully promote hatred yet they denounced them. We are certainly lacking leadership on all levels.

For the current Canadian immigration policy, the government closed the door for international students who have the language skills and tech skills to contribute to Canada and embrace Canadian values but open the door widely for refugees without selection for people like this. What will be the future of Canada?
They were useful to add another 1.5 million immigrants in a very short time. Between immigration, temporary foreign workers, refugees, asylum seekers, and international students, 1.5 million in just over a year. How many will ever go home? Each one is using our government services, hospitals, grocery stores, rentals, roads, public transportation, etc. Our country was built with immigrants, but not 1.5 million in a year while Canadian citizens are suffering with some of the highest utilities, food, housing, and transportation prices on the planet. This is just dumping raw gasoline on an out of control brush fire.
