I actualy do an evil playthrough with my husband, and we decided to help the grove, we also go just for power and wealth. But that means we helped the emerald grove. There's a blacksmith in the grove with amazing skills that later on sells you some of the best armor in the entire game.
There are, technically, 17,000 endings. Different classes, different races, different dice rolls, different decisions. (Dice rng means you can only choose a general direction for your ending, not the ending itself.) Larian wanted people to never play the same game twice. I think they did good.

As someone who never does any evil playthroughs, this series is an extremely interesting watch. To see the amount of depth and detail Larian studios has put behind the characters based on the choices you make. For example, Minthara's secrets. You would never see that content doing the good-aligned playthrough. Thanks for this playthrough.
I cant believe how fleshed out the evil story is, this is incredible. Every game in the past has the evil choices as just a one off thing or afterthought

Not really tho. Playing evil lock up so much content. You have like 1 third of the game when you play really evil, I was pretty disappointed with it. Although it make sense, it would be too much work .
Just a note, if you didn't know, a Druid when they wild shape into an animal, gets that animal's hit points. When you kill the animal shape, they go back to what they had when they shifted. Druids basically can wild shape giving them a large number of additional HP to spend.
halfway through act two and this game just keeps getting better and better, its surpassed all my expectations, i grew up on games like this, KOTOR, Jade Empire etc. i think its gonna take the spot as my favourite RPG of all time 😁
I'm surprised Gale hasn't left yet. Shadowheart hasn't shown as much disapproval as Gale but you would think they would have left already by now with them being considered good people. Also, this is so entertaining to watch. I have tried watching other people's playthroughs but they make me sleepy where as yours is really entertaining and cracks me up. It almost feels like I am watching a movie.
Gale is true neutral and only leaves if you refuse to give him any artifacts, and as for Shadowheart, I’m not sure. I think she sticks around for the most part unless you fail the certain persuasion in act 2 or you take lae’zel’s side and end up killing her. Edit: I’m pretty sure that Shadowheart is neutral as well, that or lawful neutral or lawful evil (considering her approval is based off of persuasion and deception.)
The way you edit these videos makes me feel like I'm watching a movie. Other UA-camrs don't do as much editing and it makes every encounter feel slow even when it shouldn't be. I could watch multiple playthroughs if you keep up the good work. Although that's more than I would be able to keep up with

if you had used you illithid power on the chicken chaser goblin you would have gotten all her gold and the cub. just an fyi you can use the tadpole once per long rest. after a few uses you get a new power.

That is just streamers / content creator lucks. I don't get as many good rolls! Also, there's a "Karmic dice" option in the menus which help you get better rolls after a bad one
I have a feeling he's running on easy, and running Karmic dice. Which tbh is kinda cheesing it. With Karmic dice off and on balanced I've never seen as many good roll streaks.
@@Reploidx9 I wouldn't say it's cheesing. I myself prefer going with karmic + easy mode because I like to focus on the story more. I leave challenging things to competitive games and don't want to be stressed out even in single player :)
@@DisasterSPA The combat is far to easy in easy mode, where it's not entertaining. It's just more satisfying seeing your enemy get knocked prone because they failed a saving throw in balanced. Besides, it's not as if balanced is tough to the point where you're having to reload for combat every 30 seconds, I assume that'd be in tactician mode

I mean I'm really happy that Larian decided to accommodate so many different options and playstyles, but damn...that whipping scene reminded me of Amsterdam and Madame Giselle House of Pain XD I mean...I know OF this place, not like I've been there or anything XD

@@Reploidx9 When I looked on steam, it didn't say that. I said for minimum requirement even. So I didn't even think to try. I figured it was like Cyberpunk.. they say if you don't have a SSD it won't even install.. Unless you already have it on your HDD. Thanks.
@@Reaper1008 Realistically, the functional differences between an SSD and a HDD aren't that great (not talking speed, just mechanically) so not sure how they'd implement something to block installs on HDDs, if at all possible. Just keep the number of Quick and autosaves down, and cloudsync off if you're like me and have a trigger-finger on F5 all the time because the Larian Cloudsync blocks saving if it's currently syncing

Assuming your choices and mistakes is one thing, but the combats are sometimes very hard and long, it's not fun at all to have to play again what can be 1h worth of playtime. The game should put automatic saves much more often and, in order to not saturate your memory, should have like 5 slots for automatic and F5 saves, that erase the older ones. Great game nonetheless, but damn those hours lost xD

Kagha alone is more brutal than any of evil side trio, and she gets few quite competent spellcasters with her. In the end I reloaded the game and swapped out Wyll and Karlach for Astarion and Laezel before battle. And it still was tough with druids...

I don't think you have to edit that much your playthrough. It's more work for you unnecessarily. Just dont keep the endless looting like some youtubers do 😅
I have a theory Urg is Bhaal spawn who son or descendent Bhaal the god of murder. and the urge tendencies is a power from the god of murder, meaning our character could be a descendent of the previous hero of Baldur’s Gate because this game takes place about 100 years later.
I’m just gonna assume that the absolute goddess is the mindflayer, or the leader of them that survive her empire falling guess, and it’s mostly brainwashing any goblins or people that can hear her voice. pretty much pretending to be a God but who knows it might be a new one.
I'm hardcore stuck at raiding the grove. I attacked the rats (shadow druids) so the druids and tieflings would start fighting. Then i raided the grove with minthara and killed the tieflings. Now she's saying that there are a few left to kill. I found some hiding tieflings but she still says that there are are some left. I looked everywhere but i cant find anyone
I’ve been stuck on this quest for an entire day, I can’t progress because no matter what I do after the initial attack I get the “Enemy of Justice” condition and for some reason the goblins attack me. I’ve seen people talk about it the opposite way but I don’t know how to deal with it when you’re sided with the goblins. I’ve tried different interactions, I’ve tried letting the spiders kill the Tieflings on on the wall but no matter what after the first battle I get the condition and I can’t get rid of it and I can’t progress the quest because when not auto thrown into combat all goblins and even Minthara attack me.
It seem absolute goddess is either Mindflayer leader or Mindflayer Goddess who’s fight other gods or angels from destroying the world in different plane of existence.And only reason for killing peoples is I guess to prevent other gods from controlling mortals from joining a kill a followers of the absolute.
This is supposed to be an evil playthrough, but when ESO explained that there would be no furries in our game, it became clear that this is the good playthrough.

What? You know you can install it on a HDD right? There's even a "Slow hard drive" option in the game to help with that.

I tried evil side for the first time yesterday... And got mauled by Kagha and druids, because half my team deserted, and me and Gale were just not enough to help those useless goblins win. Kagha alone is more brutal than any of evil side trio, and she gets few quite competent spellcasters with her. In the end I reloaded the game and swapped out Wyll and Karlach for Astarion and Laezel before battle. And it still was tough with druids...

I e never played anything Baldurs gate I’ve been thinking of getting this game is it worth it? I love Diablo series btw look similar apart from turn based combat
I don't think you have to edit that much your playthrough. It's more work for you unnecessarily. Just dont keep the endless looting like some youtubers do 😅
I have a theory Urg is Bhaal spawn who son or descendent Bhaal the god of murder. and the urge tendencies is a power from the god of murder, meaning our character could be a descendent of the previous hero of Baldur’s Gate because this game takes place about 100 years later.
I’m just gonna assume that the absolute goddess is the mindflayer, or the leader of them that survive her empire falling guess, and it’s mostly brainwashing any goblins or people that can hear her voice. pretty much pretending to be a God but who knows it might be a new one.

I'm hardcore stuck at raiding the grove. I attacked the rats (shadow druids) so the druids and tieflings would start fighting. Then i raided the grove with minthara and killed the tieflings. Now she's saying that there are a few left to kill. I found some hiding tieflings but she still says that there are are some left. I looked everywhere but i cant find anyone
I’ve been stuck on this quest for an entire day, I can’t progress because no matter what I do after the initial attack I get the “Enemy of Justice” condition and for some reason the goblins attack me. I’ve seen people talk about it the opposite way but I don’t know how to deal with it when you’re sided with the goblins. I’ve tried different interactions, I’ve tried letting the spiders kill the Tieflings on on the wall but no matter what after the first battle I get the condition and I can’t get rid of it and I can’t progress the quest because when not auto thrown into combat all goblins and even Minthara attack me.
It seem absolute goddess is either Mindflayer leader or Mindflayer Goddess who’s fight other gods or angels from destroying the world in different plane of existence.And only reason for killing peoples is I guess to prevent other gods from controlling mortals from joining a kill a followers of the absolute.
This is supposed to be an evil playthrough, but when ESO explained that there would be no furries in our game, it became clear that this is the good playthrough.
Loving this playthrough but just to say, you've been mispronouncing tiefling the entire time. It sounds more like "teethling"

There's secret dialogue with Zevlor if you make camp in the refugee grove, he is very surprised that you managed to sneak past the gate
I just can't decided whether I should attack or defend the grove. I'm just procrastinating for an hour now
I'm really curious why you ignored the githyanki companion entirely, didn't even take the path to kill her when you find her in the cage.
My playthroyghs will be a neutral on my first try, lawful good on the second, and chaotic evil on the third.
