This guy is very good, his single change is perfect, I watched this a lot but near the end of this video its hard to see what he is doing even when I slow it down. Who is he and are there more videos of him?
Sorry. I don't know who is he and no more videos with him. Actually he performs fixed form - Ding shi. And at the end he performs swimming body form (Bian shi) of Sun's form. You can watch how Sun's daughter performs the form.
@@Aklukva I will have to find an instructor for the swimming form, I've only learned the linked palms Kuo Feng Chih style from the Robert Smith book, which is close enough to Sun's that I'm finding the transition quite easy. I do however have a question about this video at 0:44 it seems this guy does Unicorn technique (turning body palm), the Kun trigram from the Sun book. However when looking closely at the Brennan translation of Sun available online the instructions seem different. Could you please tell me what you think (or even better make a video of yourself showing that change?). It is the one change in the linked form of Sun's that I'm having trouble with, being not in Robert Smith's book.
Meh, I figured this one out too. He threads his close hand out (right in the scene) and does the change with that one extended rather than the far one in the circle (left in the scene) as Sun's instructions imply. This allows an additional threading during the last turn right before the single change ending. Trying it both ways you could do either depending if you need switch to hands at the beginning, like for a strike, or not.
