A perfect conversation for the Holidays. Beer, pork pie and nonsense. No politics, no techy talk, just friends talking about things they love. Thank you Gents.
As an American, there is so much to translate here but it’s inspired me to call up a few friends for a Christmas beer tasting, figure out what a pork and mince pie is and try to make one. Love the channel and appreciate all you guys do 🍻 Happy Holidays
@@TheCraftBeerChannelI'm from New Jersey.. age 25. Never had a mince pie... BUT i'd like to! Love the channel, guys. I definitely need to find a couple people to share beer with and indulge in some festive foods.
My sister and me have recently started a tradition of drinking a La Chouffe whilst opening presents. It certainly starts the day with a bang! Merry Christmas lads!
A little late to the party but the Svalbard video was absolutely nuts from the music choices (really hit the hammer to the nail) to the locals' interviews, all around atmosphere and production quality. Just wanted to say that. Love the direction this channel has been going! Cheers to a great 2025!
I heard the reason jelly is in pork pie is that when it's cooked, the meat reduces but the pastry stays the same leaving a gap to fill ... they pour the jelly in that gap so the meat doesn't dry out
It’s not truly the holidays until the CBC Christmas video drops!! Much love from Canada to you gents, thanks for all the amazing content, here’s to much more in 2025!
Man, now I want a zwickl! Gotta find one (or more) around me for Christmas. Thanks for this, guys. And randomly, my two favorite Christmas beers are Von Trapp Brewery's Trosten, a wintery rauchbier, and Queen City Brewery's Gregarious Scotch Ale. Cheers, Jonny and Brad!
Happy Christmas and thanks for great beer content this year. Looks like you were several beers in before you even started this video, but you definitely deserve it! Schieve is Flemish dialect for ‘wonky’ or a bit wrong by the way. Love Senne beers, will hunt this down!
We have a local brewery here that makes a killer world class hazy IPA, Trailway Brewing Hu Jon Hops. Their first beer out when they started the brewery, which is actually celebrating 10yrs this Xmas. They do a Xmas version called Hu Jon Holiday, which they take the base Hu Jon Hops, and throw a copious amount of spruce tips at it to give it that holiday flair. Classic this time of year!!! (also a Hu Jon Light, session strength of the OG, a Hu Jon X Light, a low abv, low calorie version, as well as a Hu Jon Heavy with his the double version the OG) Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to Johnny & Brad, and all your families!
Living in Canada it’s always difficult (impossible, really) to find the beers that you drink on many of your videos so imagine my surprise when I saw a light blue bottle of Hofbrau in my local LCBO. I rushed home to open it while watching this year’s incredible Christmas offering from my favourite UA-camrs. Imagine my crushing disappointment when I discovered you weren’t drinking Hofbrau Hefe Weizen. 🙄 Ah well. It was delicious nonetheless. Thanks for another incredible year of videos, boys. The new book is on its way…..once Canada Post stop their ill-timed strike. Merry Christmas. 🎅🏻 Live n Beer, fellas
Happy holidays lads! In our house, we celebrate Christmas, Novy God (New Year's in Russian) and Hanukkah (we even have a craft Hanukkah beer that tastes like a jelly doughnut) 🍻
Merry Christmas Guys, thanks so much for the content you share, you have even enspired me to get my own beer engine at home (which my Son and I very much enjoy by the way 😆👍) wishing everyone over your way a Merry Christmas, much love from us here in New Zealand, Cheers! Mike 🍻🍻🍻🎅
I’ve got lots of beer for Christmas. - Fullers vintage ale - Titanic plum and cherry grand reserve 750ml - Kernal DIPA - Paulaner helles lager - Cloudwater mini keg - Cloudwater MCI impy stout No idea how I can possibly drink it all.
Ah, that nice homey feel of watching the annual Craft Beer Channel Christmas video. Christmas season has officially started now! On a side note: Vaseline is used extensively to protect severely burned skin. Merry Christmas, Brad and Jonny!
Brad, the jelly is lush! As long as there is a decent filling of pork. Nice line up of beers, boys. I still have a good few bottles of the Christmas Ale (cinnamon, star anise and nutmeg) I brewed for last year. At 6.4% it is robust and has matured very nicely. Otherwise, I messed up my schedule and I will be mainly drinking ...IPAs! Merry Christmas and a Happy new Year to you both!
I’m so with Brad on the pork pie jelly thing. Scarred me in my youth. Love a pork pie now though. Even more so since I moved to the US as they don’t really do them here, or good cask ale!!
Speaking of beer & food pairings - I love eating cheese with stouts, and I recently learned how incredibly well they go with hazy DIPAs, especially with blue cheese! Blue cheese and hazy DIPAs are my new favourite thing! You should give them a try!
Watching this while drinking a Gouden Carolus. Doesn't get much better. Love & beer and berry christmas to you! But why aren't you munching on the fermented mini cucumbers?! Those are bloody awesome. Højt skum!
The Guinness video wasn't bad at all. I'm not going to drink any of that garbage, but it was still a good video. Thoroughly entertaining. I might drink one Guinness a year on average by the way (though I did brew my own stout that I polished off in the fall).
Hey there! We replaced the patch with the stickers last year and have stuck with it again this year - unfortunately for some reason the patches were getting stopped at customs too much
I always avoided pork pies, the quality of the meat was questionable, just like value sausages. Mechanically recovered scraps. However, I've just had a Soreen Malt Loaf for lunch. Ignore my dietary advice. Merry Christmas all !
Guys you are rushing through these beers, slow down! This should have been at least an hour. At the end of this you should be turning every beer upside down to show that you drank everything. Cheers! And merry Christmas! 👍🏻🍻❤️🎅🏻

The IPA is the Die Hard of Christmas beers.
I see what you did there...
This is clever. Stealing it. Thanks.
Perfect!

Wait.... you have mince pies over there don't you?! I swear I've seen it referenced in movies and TV.

Merry Christmas gents, thanks for some top entertainment in 2024, can't wait for what you've got in 2025
IPAs with spruce tips ARE Christmas Beers! I also enjoyed the pork pie jelly tangent! Cheers and Merry Christmas!
Got your book for Christmas by randomness. Brilliant. Thanks. Like history, like beer and I can read. Perfect gift.
Thanks so much! Make sure you leave a review somewhere if you can! It can make a huge difference
Finished it. Book number one of 2025. Great read.

I love this channel, thank you so much for all of your incredible content, you guys are the best! Merry Christmas
Happy holidays!
Christmas has officially arrived! Merry Christmas to you guys and all the best in 2025!
The Christmas-Beer-Video is always my favorite UA-cam-Video of the Year! Love it, thank you! :)
The Vault City beer, 'DDF' means double deep fried
Look forward to these every year!! Thanks Jonny and The BRAD! Pleasure drinking (virtually) with you. Cheers!

Have a great Christmas guy's.
Thanks for another great year of awesome content Johnny and Brad. Keen to see what you boys cover next year.

Happy merry xmas
Fantastic video, a great appetizer for the Xmas live show
Merry Christmas guys and thank you for another awesome year. Sadly can't join on Saturday but already looking forward to the 2025 hype vid! Cheers!

I'm on chapter two in the new book, Jonny. I like it and I am impressed with the amount of detail and research that you have done
Is- is that the Family Guy xmas music? lol
Reddit loves your Beer School Glass

For me the yearly release of CCC from siren signals the start of Christmas. Love it!!

How did the spices come out? And how did you add the cinnamon?
Great video keep up the good work guys

Really need to grab myself a Vault City stout, they look crazy! Looking forward to the live show on Saturday!
Speaking of beer & food pairings - I love eating cheese with stouts, and I recently learned how incredibly well they go with hazy DIPAs, especially with blue cheese! Blue cheese and hazy DIPAs are my new favourite thing! You should give them a try!
My start is a similar beast, a winter warmer holiday ale from prison city (New York) brewery called “nutcracker”. Pretty tasty
Merry Christmas Gents!
Merry Christmas guys! I will enjoy the Winterzwick'l I have in the fridge soon enough! Love & Beer!
Drinking the Ayinger Winter Bock whilst watching this. Is big, dark, and glorious.
such a safe space
Unless you're a pork pie!x
This felt more like a Christmas pork pie video including some beer. I'm guessing you weren't exactly sober 😂
My christmas beer is a dark strong belgian with d180 candisyrup, wlp530 and coriander seed just shy of 9% abv
Pork pies go with everything boys 🍻
I cant believe I never knew this.
Thanks for another year with epic content..any plans to visit Brasserie Fantôme?
Thanks for watching! No plans on this trip - we won't be leaving Brussels sadly!
Watching this while drinking a Gouden Carolus. Doesn't get much better.
Love & beer and berry christmas to you!
But why aren't you munching on the fermented mini cucumbers?! Those are bloody awesome.
Højt skum!
Oh we ate them in the end.
DDF is double deep fried, following their deep fried mars bar range playing on the Scottish delicacy!
Thanks for the great year gents! Looking forward to 2025! 🍻
Altbier !!!!!
DDF iirc for that series is Double Deep Fried Brad & Jonny!
Of course it does. How silly we are.
And now I really really want a pork pie..
The Guinness video wasn't bad at all. I'm not going to drink any of that garbage, but it was still a good video. Thoroughly entertaining. I might drink one Guinness a year on average by the way (though I did brew my own stout that I polished off in the fall).
Jonny loves a mince pie (and a pork pie too!)
Double deep fried?
Hi Jonny, Hi Brad
I'm a patron (Beero) and I got the stickers and opener yesterday, without getting the patch.
Did you ship them seperately?
Hey there! We replaced the patch with the stickers last year and have stuck with it again this year - unfortunately for some reason the patches were getting stopped at customs too much
@TheCraftBeerChannel Loving the stickers. Love from israel :)
The hazy ipa was that bad to leave it there?
In the pint glass? Nah we just had a lot of other beer to get through! It was excellent.
When are you going to talk about Altbier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had an Omnipollo Christmas milkshake DIPA only yesterday 😅
When it comes to Milkshake IPA I am the Grinch.
Has Jonny written a book?
You should do a video about Robin Hood and the sheriff of nautyham.
Not sure how much beer he drank
I always avoided pork pies, the quality of the meat was questionable, just like value sausages. Mechanically recovered scraps. However, I've just had a Soreen Malt Loaf for lunch. Ignore my dietary advice. Merry Christmas all !
FINAL FINAL V3?
Oops. Soz.x
I think Jonny said a beer was "delicious" within 10 seconds of the video starting, a world record. And double dipping the pork pie, not a good look!
pissed again
