Hi, thanks a lot for sharing...excellent content...!!! As I am looking for similar solution so not to replace the existing switches but add this to have the smart capability...!!! the reason for not doing it so far and I would like to ask how is it with fitting it in the back of the existing switch...did it fit ok or you needed any modification (in the depth) to the cable box itself to fit?
Hi Evgenios! Welcome to the channel, I am planning covering more of these topics so stick around and enjoy 😁 as for your question, no modification needed the Sonoff mini is ideal for most electrical light switch boxes, if it’s a one way switch it’s a perfect fit and with a two way switch you need to push it a little in when you tighten the screws. But during the installation you should just make keep the cables neAt to leave enough space. If you have more questions don’t hesitate to ask 👍
The module itself *NEEDS* a neutral connection - however if you don't have a neutral at the light switch position then you will probably have one up at the ceiling where the light is and you could slip it into the ceiling void.
Thanks, great and brief, music was a little loud
I think that the pairing/ connection mode section was so fast it was just a blur
Nice information here. Keep it up!
have you watched your video before publishing it? why is that music so loud??
Are you able to dim the lights with the MINIR2? Seems like you have the brightness option? I did not believe that this was possible? :-)
Hi Mikkel! Not dimmable unfortunately, would have been great for that price point

Hi, were you able to fit the mini R2 inside the switch box? The R2 looks too big to go behind the switch.
Hi yes! It fits easily just had to make the cable work neat but I didn’t struggle getting it in
What’s the background music?!
Very good explanation. However, I would like to know if it can be used in a switch which does not have neutral. If so, how to proceed? Thank you

Does the module and switch work independantly as if they were connected paralely? Can you turn off the light with voice if it was turned on by switch?
Yes! Works great
Any risk in installing in metal box ?
Make sure you keep the cabling proper and you should be fine
Thank you.
Where do you put the cables in the old switch?
Any of the internet ports, plug and play, setup is super easy and convenient! One of the reason I chose the Deco system!
Thanks for the Video !, Do you know by any chance how to factory reset this device ?
