HOW TO GET TO JALAMA BEACH?

Jalama is an hour and a half north of Santa Barbara between Vandenberg Air Force Base and Point Conception. Just getting there is an adventure. The final 30 minutes of the drive take you down a windy road through farmland, ranches, and forests leading to a secret campground and beach with epic waves.
At Jalama, there are four main surf spots. From south to north, they are Jalama Rivermouth, Jalama Beachbreak or Jalama Campground, Cracks or The Crack and Tarantulas or T’s.
