Walt Disney's Gallegher Goes West: Part 1 "Showdown with the Sundown Kid" Season 13 Ep 7

Part 1 of Gallegher's Goes West: Showdown with the Sundown Kid originally aired on October 23rd, 1966. Gallegher, following the advice of another newsman, Horace Greeley, has headed west. Gallegher travels to his next job on a stagecoach, where he meets another passenger, Mr. Tucker. When they arrive in town, Tucker narrowly saves Gallegher from being caught in a shootout, but the boy realizes Tucker is actually a wanted fugitive. Starring Dennis Weaver as The Sundown Kid, John McIntire as Whit White, James Gregory as Sheriff Dodds, Roger Mobley as Gallegher, Ray Teal as Detective Snead, Jeanette Nolan as Erm White and Peter Graves as Marshal Frank Neimeyer.

You got it man...As a kid watching the start of the show, they'd set up the image with the 4 "worlds" of Disney...Frontierland was always first choice and NEVER a disappointment...Fantasyland was a pretty good gamble as second choice cuz it usually meant cartoons...Adventureland was boring, except some of the stories taking place in other countries...I was always bored with the science and technology stuff (except when Ludvig von Drake was there to explain things or if Goofy was there to demonstrate)...

A lot of great actors in the series, Peter Graves is also Brother of James Arness of Gunsmoke series as is Dennis Weaver who played Chester. John Mcintire and Janet Nolan played Husband and wife in the series The Virginian. Thanks for the great memories !!

Lousy is right . If they only knew how lousy . Hopefully folks will detach from technology instead of depend on it for everything. Sadly technology made this viewing possible .

I love Gallagher so much! Although on this episode I think maybe he did help the hypocrites.
