I actually first heard this song during the credits of “Transformers” back in 2007-2008. I have a guilty pleasure for this franchise and EVERY credits song slaps, the Linkin Park ones especially. The did the song for the 2nd Transformers film’s end credits called “New Divide,” which I would recommend.
The offical video kind of explains it better. It's what all of us have done. Wars, Famine, Pestilence. How much we value how people look and are portrayed. The atomic bomb. Oil spills...on and on. We need to face what we've done and what we've become as a society. This is also in the movie Transformers. Transformers 2 has New Divide by them. Another awesome song. You should check it out. And no they are not a Christian band. Please react to more Linkin Park! RIP Chester. Miss you.
If I get visited by aliens or time travellers or some thing and they want to know what humans were/are like, I will show them the music video for this song and tell them, "This is humanity, at our best... and at our worst..."
You really need to watch this video with Chester singing... Amazing. Also please start looking into his best friend .. His keyboardist to his right side.. his right hand man. Mike Shinoda. Amazing musician.
aah hmmm, I have heard this song a few times and know I gave it a thumbs up in Pandora, but honestly I never paid attention to the lyric's. Thumbs up to you for waking me up! EDIT: I'm going to watch your video again to see those lyric's.
I was up past 2am binge watching several of your reaction videos last night, love your channel and you're perspective on the things you've reacted to. Totally unrelated to this specific video, I'm not sure if you've heard of NF or if he's well known in the UK but I'd love to see you react to some of his music, basically all of it if I'm being honest lol. He's not really a mainstream rapper although a few of his songs have played on the radio in the past but his music is just (chef kisses) perfection and all about his life experiences. Definitely one of if not my favorite rapper, if you're interested in reacting to him I could list a few.. or more of his songs for you to react to. I have a feeling you'd really enjoy his music if you don't already.
A word about what happened to Chester, he was good friends with Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, Audioslave, solo), who himself committed suicide a couple days before Chester's birthday. I remember everyone talking about how Chris Cornell's suicide may have played a big part (and probably did) in Chester's suicide. (Interesting to note, because I've heard that part of Chris Cornell was never able to get over the death of his good friend, Andrew Wood of Mother Love Bone and Malfunkshun. As they say, grief never goes away.)
Linkin Park was so diverse!!! Wretches and kings, Waiting for the end, No more sorrow. 3 completely different sounds from them keep up the awesome reactions.....R.I.P. Chester!!!
Linkin Park is my most favorite band of all time! I really appreciate everything they've done! Chester is my hero. Might I suggest reacting to Our Last Night? They are a current favorite of mine. Their covers are ALL bangers, but they have amazing original music as well that I hold dear to me. My personal favorite being "Tongue Tied".
Hi! I've got two songs to recommend, 'Black Halo' by Black Pistol Fire and 'real love baby' by Father John Misty, both different from each other but good songs to vibe with :) have a nice day

This was one of my favorite albums in high school. Bleed It Out was my favorite song from it.
IMHO, their best song. But you should really see the official video, it adds a lot more. With that said watch their Points of Authority video!
I really want to react to official music videos but I’m scared of copyright 😩

RIP to Chester. Love LP great song. They don't have a bad song.
Deeply introspective. I agree with you Kabir, definitely a message in these songs. Even more sad in hindsight, he was so young.
Look up how Chester really died it wasn't suicide.
Look at the book he was writing that's why he died its even more sad then what we thought. Chester was a hero
Also Disturbed song "A reason to fight" so emotions to see it live when they show pictures...tear jerker.
KEEP GOING DOWN THE LP RABBIT HOLE..."PAPERCUT", "NEW DIVIDE" & "SOMEWHERE I BELONG".....R.I.P CHESTER :(

Like in terms of genre? No, and I’m not sure of the individual members religious beliefs.
