2.59 axle ratio
This is +2,000 ft DA. Owners of automatic 2.59 geared LT1 C4s have reported as fast as 13.3 @ 106 mph bone stock in very good air (-2,000 ft DA) which is on par with what i'm seeing out of mine. They only appear to be about 2 mph slower than C5s with the same trans. I have driven several auto C5s and they don't feel any different SOTP to me.
Nice run. I test drove a super low mile 96 collectors edition with the 330hp LT4. Sweet car. It moved out pretty good too. C4 doesn't get enough love.
Pretty impressive for a stock auto. I knew the LT1s were torquey… but I didn’t expect them to pull quite that much up top. Especially at 2000ft altitude is impressive.
Some ppl have gone as fast as 13.3 @ 106 in stock auto LT1 Vettes. Pretty crazy. They are great cruisers. More personality than C5s and much cooler/better interior IMO. Just need a 97 Z28 and a 98 Cobra to round out the nostalgia fleet.

Good old LT1, well not the oldest LT-1, and not the newest LT1, it’s a little confusing lol. That’s fast for the early to mid 90s👍

How responsive is it with the auto transmission? Thinking about picking it up but all I’ve ever drove are Toyota family cars that take a full second to accelerate after pushing the pedal, so I have some preconceptions about autos
I liked that auto MUCH more than the A6 in my C6. Mine may have had a shift kit, im not sure. The shifts at like half throttle and above would spill your drink, literally chirp the tires. But at light throttle they were smooth. I bought it from the original owner who didn't do any mods to it so I'd be surprised if they installed a shift kit. I really liked that C4, more than my C6 even after the cam and stall and just as much as my C5 Z.

Is this with 2.59 gears or 3.07 gears?
Do the 3.07 mph more than the 2.59 gears in the 1/4 mile?

That was 2.59. That's a good question, probably not though. I loved that car. Didn't mind the 2.59 gears one bit. It was great on the highway.
Put in 3.73 gears

You could build that LT1 to run 10s no problem whatsoever!! And it's not like you could just dump a 6.0 and run 10s! That thing is going to have to be built to the hilt as well!!!
