Cinematography great, action on point and seeing strong Native American female lead with her brother as well is the cherry topping!Amber Midthunder is beautiful and fierce! It wasn't in the theaters cause last predator movie flopped big time and cost fox a lotta money but fox is owned by Disney so the got billions of dollars.
The lead is not a native. She is only part native. She’s 75% non-native and 25% native. She’s actually 50% European (white) 25% Chinese and 25% Native American (Sioux). Being 75% non-native is her predominance. She’s not a native, she’s a mixed race person. Even her surname Mid-thunder is Norwegian (Midtun) but was changed to make it sound Native American, likely because she is an enrolled member of a Sioux tribe.
Tiger woods is multi also but he is associated with black by society. Why is that?

On Google it often says that she's Native American but in fact, upon further search it reveals she's mixture of Thai, American and German descent. So why do the just focus on her native American aspect! She's has more Euro/Asian heritage than Native American blood. Nothing against that but wish they get their acts together and tell us the truth, rather than half-truth.
She deserves to be casted in the MCU. Prey is, so far, the sleeper hit of the year.

Prey is a prequel to the predator movies cause its set in 1719 and the predators weapons are primitive compared to the predator 1 and 2 predator weapons.

I'm a Dakota- Lakota sioux. I know about the plains Indian tribes history and know we're they came from. Not the Hollywood version or the director shouldn't put the predator - comanche movie we're the tribe not from. There's non tax states we're the movie can be made.
Well to be fair accuracy was not that strict since the lead role was played by a girl that is mostly non-native American (she’s 75% non-native and only 25% Native American).

@@charlesbullghost5491 Her Native American blood is 25%. Her father’s mother was a 4/4 full blood Fort Peck Sioux. She is enrolled in the Fort Peck Sioux Tribe of Montana. That tribe has a 1/4 blood quantum limit so she just makes the cut. Her fathers father was mostly Norwegian with some English admixture. Her surname Midthunder is of Norwegian descent as Midthun. I assume her father changed it to Midthunder as he has the same surname as Amber while his Norwegian descent dad’s surname is Midthun. I assumed it was a native surname but it’s European origin albeit a bit changed. Her mother was born in Thailand and is half Chinese and half English/German. Amber is 50% European (Norwegian, English, German), 25% Chinese and 25% Native American Sioux. She’s 75% non-Native American. She’s not a Native American but a mixed race person with some Native admixture. However, she is a member of a Sioux Tribe. Contrary to the audience, Prey is not an accurate portrayal of Native Americans, to say the least....

The film is good and is rare to find Hollywood made a movie purely on Native American culture, rather than all Black, which is seems to the trend nowadays. They're not Native American actors but mixture Euro and American and bit of Asian thrown in. Not sure if a hundred percent pure Native Americans still exist or if they had been annihilated by the White Europeans.

I agree, it’s ridiculous that such a little girl takes on and defeats a predator, so very unrealistic if there was such a situation that existed. However, I love predator movies so much I just put that to the side and watched it and it was a pretty good movie with the obvious ridiculous wokeness aside.
