Betsy and Bennett Cullum are Honored with the 2021 Ruth and Ken Altshuler Callier Care Award

The Callier Center honored Betsy and Bennett Cullum with the 2021 Ruth and Ken Altshuler Callier Care Award. The award is given annually to an individual or group who has contributed significantly to the betterment of the community and to advancing the care of patients with communication disorders.
The Cullums have a distinguished history as advocates and supporters of the Callier Center and the community. A trustee on the Foundation for the Callier Center board since 2008, Bennett served as president from 2014 to 2015 and helped raise essential funds to build the Callier Center expansion at the UT Dallas campus in Richardson. Betsy co-chaired the 2014 Callier Cares Luncheon with her sister, Sissy Cullum, leading the event to a record fundraising level.
