First-of-its-kind project underway to restore Indian River Lagoon

A long-awaited project to restore shoreline and habitat in the Indian River Lagoon is beginning to take shape in Titusville.
Officials broke ground Wednesday on the Titusville Causeway Multi-Trophic Restoration and Living Shoreline Resiliency Action Project.

This is good news and what a great idea. I hope the 40 acres of seagrass will expand quickly because in a way it doesn't sound like very much but on the other hand maybe it is a great start. 💜

I love the enthusiasm but the puffer fish will have the grass and clams cleaned out in about a week 😂
