You should do a video about the BEST moves for slow player to pass/beat their defender. Majority of hoopers are not naturally gifted like Nba players, so i think it will be useful to know which moves suit the best for us common athletes 😂
Coach I've been here since like 5k subs, you have reading my mind with these videos, finishing through contact, how to gather to finish, my goodness, and Recently I stopped balling for a while and now, I struggle with my ball handling especially in fast breaks or don't know how to properly run pg, these are the typa videos that would really help a random person across the globe like me, appreciate it coach, keep em coming
Hey Coach, I love these blow by your defender videos. But, even after I’ve practiced this move over a thousand times, and I mean it, I’ve practiced the spin move over a thousand times. I still can’t really do it fast enough in a game or can’t find the perfect time to do it in a game. Can you make a vid on how to get better at speed while doing these moves? Please it would really help
Practice going game intensity so imagine theres a defender in front of u and go as fast as u can on the move. Obviously if ur doing a change of pace before u dont go full speed the whole time but when ur supposed to go fast go as fast as u can. U should be losing the ball a lot in ur training or missing shots and u also gotta work against a defender at least 1-2 times a week. U could play pickup on the weekends and use the moves u worked on
Hey, practice doing it off balance. Search up coach Ross spin move, he talks one of the key points of a spin move and it’s to spin off balance. By this he talks about how you spin with ur feet under ur center of gravity, by this doing you “fall” into your spin making it faster. Remember tho it’s not about the speed always and just how fall you sell it shown in this video, go one way and when they react to it by cutting you off you change directions with that spin move and seal them with your off arm.
I think you could/should have included the "dream shake". You don't have to start this from the dribble. I was totally surprised the other day how fast and explosive this move can be from 0 speed. A tiny bit of space, and you're already sprinting. Maybe it depends on your body, and your affinity for the move, but damn I am so quick with it I have to slow down and check distances or I can't control the finish.
You can execute this actually if a defender is slightly in the side and not in the middle because the space u'll get from it is where you'll do the spin
Coach most of the videos you upload are of movements and tips, but there is something that is affecting me very strongly and is that when I enter the court I stay in a very conscious state, making me have a slow game and unable to make quick decisions. How can I get into that state of unconsciousness, in that state where I don't think I just act, you know what I mean? I wish you could make a video about that IS PART OF THE MIND IN THE GAME. I think it can help me a lot and help those who still don't know anything about it.
You just play bro 😂. Everything you learn should become instinct after studying and watching. There’s only so much you can do on court. Being physical and strong whilst having IQ helps a lot. Always remember the things your good at and be efficient at getting to those spots.
its just a quick reaction to counter a move that your defender/helper does also aware of where your teammates are to pass too that is of course considering you practiced and can do all the counter moves including passing.
You should watch the videos of Deepgame. His such a nice coach and he tells you so much about the Mind game and the laws of it. Hmu if u got any questions bro
It's ok to slow down a moment to assess the situation. But then you should take action immediately. Focus to watch out for certain cues on what to do. Some examples: paint is empty -> drive, they don't defend you closely -> shoot, you have a lane to the basket -> drive, you have no space -> pass and cut. Always try to observe what the defense is doing and how they're positioned. Also watch for matchups, maybe you're bigger or stronger or faster than your defender and can use that to your advantage. Maybe some of your teammates have a good matchup then try to get the ball to them. Know your strengths and weaknesses and play accordingly. Also try to focus on these things when you don't have the ball. Then you will already know what to do when you get it. Also maybe you need to work on your ball control. If you have to watch the ball while you're dribbling you cannot focus on these other things. In the end it's a question of experience also, so play as much as you can. Watching basketball might help too, but don't watch the ball, watch what everyone else is doing. Finally remember if you don't know what to do, a quick pass and relocate can never be bad.
It’s useful because it allows you to protect the ball keeping your back to the defender, especially since it’s almost impossible for them to steal without committing a reach in, but most importantly, if your footwork is correct, you don’t lose any momentum, whereas in a behind the back, there’s a slight pause between the move and the drive, allowing the defender to catch up.
Keep practicing bro. We have all been there. Although if you have a friend to defend while you keep doing the spin move you will get better at it alot faster
It's called the east coast SPIN MOVE I WAS DOING THIS OLD SCHOOL IN 1974 BEFORE I MEET NBA LEGEND PISTOL MARAVICH ITS THE SPIN MOVE GET IT RIGHT REMEMBER RUCKER PARK 1974 NEW YORK CITY ILL TAKE THE SPIN MOVE OVER THE CROSS OVER ANY DAY REAL BALL PLAYERS GREW UP WITH EAST COAST "SPIN MOVE" "NEW YORK CITY" THE SPIN MOVE! NEW YORK NEW YORK THUMBS 👍
What videos would you like to see next?
What dribble moves can I do to get a driving angle? I do a hang dribble and lateral float dribble and I don’t get a read
Ranking setup moves, would help alot
@@aidanhowell7910 Honestly not a big fan of floating laterally. Or hanging the ball while trying to read what's open. Many better moves out there.
@@AuthenticWizzoInteresting. How many setup moves are there really though? Like 4-5? And most of them end the exact way.

Was just thinking about how spin moves mostly look like travels in the NBA and how I could do them legally. Thanks

Just tried to learn this yesterday or today😂😂
If i only had a dollar for every spin in this video
more finishing tips pls
This avatar the last airbender theme is a hit🥶🥶🥶🥶

very efficient !
Every time I do the spin move I feel out of control
5:15 Do you have any move to deal with that pressure? Or just spin move can do the job
You could also bump into them and create some contact, then continue with your play or pass it off

you should try to research r.e. "how to enter flow state (for athletes)", there are plenty of videos/books out there

Did Dame throw a pass that bounced off embid that scored? Bro made him score on his own basketball
you shouldve used the clip of allen iverson for BTL + spin
6:07 who score that?
dame, he's the one nearest to the basket
Can I make a video on the under drag?
I used to practice that but some dude in highschool called me traveled
Can someone explain why i should use the spin, i feel as if the behind the back and is easier and more viable. Unless im wrong 😅
