- Piet Omsen ist gerade aus den Urlaub zurück. Es ist brüllend heiß und der Brocken brennt. Tags darauf sind aber Unwetterwarnungen in aller Munde und der Wetterbericht stimmt auf eine 5 B-Lage mit möglicher Sintflut ein. Die BKB hat in Wald liegt noch das inzwischen gut an der Luft getrocknete Langholz aus dem letzten Winter liegen. Das soll nun unbedingt noch vor dem Starkregen unter Dach gebracht werden. So platzt Piet Omsen bei seiner Rückmeldung bei der BKB-Beriebsleitung justement in eine angespannte Betriebsamkeit. Es ist Dampflokfahrverbot wegen Waldbrandgefahr. Die BKB greift auf die Akkuloks zu und Piet zum Hörer und Mikrofon, um Steffen anzupingen, der die Lage auf den Gleisen in Bild und Ton verfolgen soll.
Endlich mal wieder eine Reportage von Piet Omsen: Informativ, aktuell und locker präsentiert. Direkt vom Gleis der BKB, aus dem Stellwerk, aus der Lok und manchmal sogar aus dem Hubschrauber - ein Fachjournalist der alten Schule!
Ja, der Piet Omsen war lange weg. Er hatte seinen Jahresurlaub und den wohl tatsächlich wörtlich genommen. Steffen meinte, wenn der erste Spekulatius bei Aldi im Regal steht, dann ist er wieder da. Stimmt auf den Tag genau.

Dear Fabrizio, I'm very happy. The phenomenon of mass movement always intrigues me. Like now, when the fear of a flood is rising among the masses, a fear that is fueling itself. It is due to a well-known weather situation, the so-called 5B situation of a low pressure area that takes in water over the Mediterranean and turns northwards and meets an arctic cold front. This can cause major floods due to continuous rain in the water runoff. The idea alone then prompts action. If that happens, a solution will be found in blaming some creature for the flood. This reminds me of the clever Scipio Sighele, one of the founders of enlightened mass psychology. @@BKB-Henry Dear Henry, great idea for the film, inspired by the philosophy of Scipio Sighele who was born here, in Lombardy, in the 18th century; his philosophy was correct and, in some ways, inspired by that of Lombroso, his contemporary! Your film has well reproduced that collective fear postulated by Sighele! I will also tell you that, in the film, I really appreciated the perfect functionality of the manually controlled switches! I also like the two small LGB electric locomotives (one green and one yellow), originally with pantographs, which you have, intelligently, transformed by removing the pantographs and putting batteries on board! Schöner Beitrag. Der Piet Ohmsen wohnt irgendwo an de Leine am Aksent zu hören. Ich mag den Handbetrieb an den Weichen. Gehört zum täglichen gartenbahnbetrieb. Bitte etwas mehr Info zu dieser Lok "E" ohne Nummer, grünes Farbkleid, Stangenantrieb und Schweizer Kennmahl? Sieht nicht Standard LGB aus; Eigenbau?
Die Lok ist auf LGB Teil-Fahrwerk vom Krokodil mit einem stilgerechten Eigenbau-Aufbau. Inzwischen umgebaut auf R/C Akkubetrieb. V max 25-30 km/h.
