Purchased the DV1 S yesterday and used for the first time today and it is outstanding best fan I've seen on any smart gun slightly bigger fan than others makes for faster clear coating, corner bumpers cleared in seconds. Very comfortable in larger hands and off the gun finishes. Kudos to you devillbiss 👍👍👍
Hi All, just found your channel while looking for reviews on the DV1 and DV1S. I have 2 SRI ProLite's and 2 GTI ProLite's but recently won a DV1S in a competition I wasn't expecting much from it over the SRI but have to say I agree with everything you have said here, it's totally better in every way apart from the finish which as you mentioned they are both capable of the same finish but with the DV1S it's easier to get there. I was so impressed with the DV1S that I bought the DV1 C1 digital clear gun and have the same feelings with this over the GTI, it's a fantastic gun and able to achieve great flat finishes which I think are better than the GTI with the T110 cap, anyway sorry to ramble on I've subscribed to your channel. @@Mechaniclyfe Thinking with your wallet not your heart don't be like me bro got 20 plus guns stored away collecting dust thousands of dollars worth doing nothing but that's me lol 😁😁
Anyhow I've made my mind up when its time to quit I'm boxing all the decent stuff and shipping it over to you do what you will with it once I finish that's it bro I paint no more 😁😁😁
Do you know which Dekups adapter the DV1s uses? I just ordered one today (a DV1s) from an authorized Devilbiss dealer and I forgot to ask them. I ordered a DPC43 on Amazon as a shot in the dark but we will see.
Nice comparison bro man I really want to try that out and the regular dv1. Never tried the smaller details guns but have been looking into getting one for those smaller jobs. Might look into the Sri pro. Thanks brotha!
Not are equipped with a 1.0 in this video , but tips that both guns come with are Sri : .8 , 1.0 and DV 1 is 1.0 , 1.2 but depends on kit that you get but those are the ones I have
@@Mechaniclyfe Just received new DV1s yesterday .Yes, this spray gun smaller than Sri . Same as my Iwata LPH 80 and has all plastic inside like my clear DV1 clear. I feel I still like my Sri better . Sri sprays wetter. But I have 1.2 tip. Maybe just me.... A lot of guys still like Prolite better than new DV1. Will see after some time...

Hi Chris very very impressed with that mini if I had my time again I would purchase all the dv1 range fantastic vid cheers bud 👍👍👍👍
Thanks Dean! I love it , best 500 bucks I’ve spent , little on the pricey side but still worth it in my books, thinking of selling the Sri pro.
@@Mechaniclyfe if you want to get some bucks back go for it you wouldn't use that pro much anymore now so sell it bud
Yeah I think I am, it would just make sense to sell it.

Does the Dv1 use separators under the nozzle?
It does not , I think you mean a baffle seal?
How from Devilbiss site they said Sri has 9 in pattern and DV1s only 7. But in your video results are different? What the fluid tips size on both?
depending on distance , I believe the dv1 is the larger pattern but both are pretty large fans for a mini gun

@@walterwalters3069 how does sri handle thick clear ? i want this only for clear, to help my tiny iwata lph80
@@polish666riot No problems at all. I'm using TS 1 cap 30 psi and amazing result. I have LpH 80 and also like it for very small job.
That sloppy noisy trigger on the SRI has always annoyed me. 😂
lol I always looked passed it , until now it stands out like a sore thumb
Easy to fix, just glue a small piece of rubber on front top of the trigger, then the play is gone.
Who cares how much it weighs.spray it
