In reality, the transport carrying the Ohka was shot down before reaching the battlefield. The Ohka was not a particularly advanced weapon technologically and could have been realized with the technology available at the start of the war. If the Japanese had approached the American fleet with Zero fighter support and attacked using the Ohka, more significant results could have been achieved. Specifically, if they had attacked the Philippines instead of launching the Pearl Harbor attack, and used the Ohka to attack the approaching American fleet, it might have resulted in the complete destruction of the American fleet
Kamikazes in a video game don't seem to make much sense. A real-life suicide pilot had one chance to make a successful attack, and afterwards he's dead. But in a game a player gets to respawn over and over, so you can figure out the optimum method of attack...and so you end up being this reusable kamikaze.
