love the Jeep and love the video. It’s great you guys are taking your time and being cautious. Off-roading is about having fun... and spending so much time and money into something to drive it like an idiot and break it in the processes is not fun and more like a headache. You guys are doing it right, Keep it up!
Don't listen to the haters, for a first time out especially after a new engine, a mild course like that was perfect, only thing i would say is not to go alone, as i found out the hard way! Atleast you had a winch though. As you say the camera does not do any justice and looks way more scary in person! Good job guys and nice ride, should get some 35s on there nicely with that lift!
11:30. A rear locker and you drive right out like nothing. But yeah don't listen to the haters. Everybody's a fucking offroad god on youtube. You've got a nice rig to learn with and with lockers it will be a beast.
I'm glad you guys had fun, and I hope you make plenty of more videos. I like your content, but I can't help noticing that your off road park is only about as extreme as average Nevada dirt roads. I hope you guys find some more menacing terrain! :D Great build on the XJ. Subscribed.
Not to shabby. Just keep going slow as you learn how to operate that thing offroad. My main tip for next time. Air down thoes tires. 20psi to be safe, dont want to pop the bead off. Soft tires grip rocks better.
Yeah, we have an 8.8 with 4.10 gears in the garage right now but we're waiting to accumulate more funds until we can fully get it in but its coming lol.
Nice rig...gotta lock the front atleast makes HUGE difference..think theres a volvo 740?maybe if equipt with tow package fits dana front axles..its a LSD so engages with tire slip
I wouldn't invest anything beyond a pair of cheap lunchbox lockers into those axles. It's a great jeep but start looking for a set of half tons for it. Something that OX lockers or TrueTracs will fit into.
What kind of lift. Because I want to put 33s on but I only a three inch lift, I want to squeeze some of those on there over my 31’s because they look tiny lol
Build Break Repeat damn son! That’s a lot of lift. Boy, does she look good! Mine has 3” lift, but definitely needs more.. have fun guys and above all, be safe.
12:18. Maybe we should back up and put something under that rock, WTF? Was he meant to say wheel? can't put something under that rock unless you're gonna dig it out lol....
Fuck that guy! Don't apologize for him watching your video and being a douchebag. Dudes like him only do one thing....each other. Your video is great man. Keep offroading!
I like that you guys are cautious and I think you discovered just how well you built that monster. Good video!
Need to air them tires down!

"Joe, go slow and listen to us"
(Joe sends it)
Nice video look forward to seeing what you do next, I have a modified XJ and so does my brother we love taking them off-road
awesome! I like that the jeep sounds like a mini diesel when its crawling around lol thats the sound I'll need for mine hah
Skl1cent just the muffler out and add a pipe from cut end to cut end. mine sounds identical
I was going to say either a straight pipe instead of muffler, or a FM..
What series flowmaster?
I straight piped mine and it sounds like this but louder and a bit more choppy and clappy
My XJ sounds like a diesel...but my XJ is a diesel. :-)
Excellent video...nice ride, it was good to see someone taking care of their vehicle and putting it through a good workout and intro to trails.

Josh Glancy Haha yeah thanks man.
Josh Glancy koo
if you put lockers in that it would be a REALLY good overland vehicle. nice jeep
Overland ........... Bleh gayest thing I've ever heard
Need Lockers
11:30. A rear locker and you drive right out like nothing. But yeah don't listen to the haters. Everybody's a fucking offroad god on youtube. You've got a nice rig to learn with and with lockers it will be a beast.
This is what it's all about ... Nice to see you guy's out doin it . keep it up nice rig 👍
Now thats an adventure! Great Video Guys!
I'm glad you guys had fun, and I hope you make plenty of more videos. I like your content, but I can't help noticing that your off road park is only about as extreme as average Nevada dirt roads. I hope you guys find some more menacing terrain! :D Great build on the XJ. Subscribed.
I leave by this park, the trains get pretty gnarley. These guys are on the road leading up to the trails lol.
Offroad Park? This looks like the road to my hunting camp
Awesome. Getting ready for an engine swap and 4x4 conversion on my 94'. Looking forward to more offroading in the future, subscribed.
Proxima Top Sick man, thanks for the sub and good luck with your project.
My favorite vehicle of all time!
One of my favorites too! :-)
airdown more you are sitting about 25psi
Nice jeep man! Sweet video!
A rear locker helps a lot from my experience
That looks so fun. I live in Nebraska, so no trails like that one.
Nice Jeep. Cool video too
Not to shabby. Just keep going slow as you learn how to operate that thing offroad.
My main tip for next time. Air down thoes tires. 20psi to be safe, dont want to pop the bead off. Soft tires grip rocks better.
Straight piped? I've done it to mine and yours is the only one I've ever heard that sounds exactly like it
Good video!
Your Jeep has some nice flex. What happened to your front right tire? Misalignment?
Nice driving kid...good spotter too..for open diffs.. yaya!...#xjowner #itsajeepthing
Great vid. Looks like a nice build, jeep seems in good shape. I like that the fenders aren't all hacked up. Any plans for replacing the 35?
Yeah, we have an 8.8 with 4.10 gears in the garage right now but we're waiting to accumulate more funds until we can fully get it in but its coming lol.
Nice rig...gotta lock the front atleast makes HUGE difference..think theres a volvo 740?maybe if equipt with tow package fits dana front axles..its a LSD so engages with tire slip
And YES LIGHT BRAKE PEDAL WILL HELP OPEN DIFFS GRAB..good call
I wouldn't invest anything beyond a pair of cheap lunchbox lockers into those axles. It's a great jeep but start looking for a set of half tons for it. Something that OX lockers or TrueTracs will fit into.
Good lookin rig don't be afraid to Tippin .. lol..you'll know when it's too steep
Nice video guys. You mentioned you had a Dana 35 rear....looks like you actually have a Chrysler 8.25, which is better. FYI
What exhaust system are you running?it sounds really good!!
Could use a better spotter. But they are flatlanders.
Lockers were the first thing i did...i hate open diffs. Lockers make even amateurs seem like bad ass drivers.
Love the video! #savethesquares #xjtough
What kind of lift. Because I want to put 33s on but I only a three inch lift, I want to squeeze some of those on there over my 31’s because they look tiny lol
How much is it lifted and is it a long arm kit?
Move that tire from the roof to the cargo area. It will help with your center of gravity.
Gotta Bump It when you're trying to get up a ledge :) What did you air your tires down to on this trail? 12PSI is my fav
+rhinogear Yeah, we didn't even air down this time but we totally should have, just forgot lol.
Why is your front right tire bald?
Moto T probably needs an alignment or it wasn't ever good air pressure in it
Yeah your video is good. Shit I'm looking to buy one myself.
Nice jeep, if your jeep is a 99 it should have the Chrysler 8.25 rear end
What ur muffler or exhaust kit?
Nice
just me? or would a lot of you had dropped the tire preasures A LOT... it looks to skip
a few times when climbing
What exhaust do you have on it?
who makes your front bumper? nice!
+rhinogear It's a smittybuilt
That thing needs lockers bad
Whats the exhaust?
USE COMMON SENSE USE LOW RANGE . THEN YOU WONT WORK IT SO BAD AND IT IS EASIER ON THE VEHICLE
They literally said they had it in low range though, and they were being very cautious.
no suspension upgrades?
Looks like a 6 inch lift
If you want to talk about scary, I went Offroading and drove when I was 15. It was fun and the xj was really capable but it was very scary
The brake trick only works with LSD's not open diff's.LOL....
dan hambrick oh damn..... I guess thats why it didn't really work haha.
What kinda bumper was that
Front
it almost sounds like straight pipe? is it?
Tyler Durrer It’s a straight pipe with a flowmaster cat.
Build Break Repeat called it!!!! Lol
Build Break Repeat, what series flowmaster?
Size of lift ?
agent0444 6.5 inch
Build Break Repeat damn son! That’s a lot of lift. Boy, does she look good! Mine has 3” lift, but definitely needs more.. have fun guys and above all, be safe.
haha awesome
should not be a dana 35 in a 99...should be and looks to be chrysler8-1/4
Def an 8.25 Chrysler if its a 99.
12:18. Maybe we should back up and put something under that rock, WTF? Was he meant to say wheel? can't put something under that rock unless you're gonna dig it out lol....
Fuk the haters!...they mad they bought kia's...lol..
Dramat. Im bardziej rozwinięty kraj tym .... jego obywatele.
Bro, you guys are going over 4 in rocks like they are 4 ft boulders. Oh this is going to be some flex. This vid should be on off-road fails montage!
Joseph Allish Sorry I guess man...it was our first time hitting the trails in the xj so I figured we should record it.
Fuck that guy! Don't apologize for him watching your video and being a douchebag. Dudes like him only do one thing....each other. Your video is great man. Keep offroading!
Guys you are on the roads leading up to the trails. I go there several times a year, this video makes my laugh every time I watch it 😂
@@BuildBreakRepeat It's all good, you gota start somewhere homie.
There like 10 yrs old
Kiniferus Eby They're*

This video is a joke....
Joseph Allish Your existence is a joke
