People are starting to get these delivered, and apparently they are mostly unpainted, but made from a light grey plastic, with barely any wash, and the only truly painted parts being the eyes, mouth, and claws. Can you confirm that yours is fully painted? It really looks like there’s some bait and switch shenanigans going on.

I just got mine a few days ago and that is exactly what happened. Stuff is unpainted save for the rider and the face, plus it has defects on the wing joint with some clumped plastic putty looking goop.

I received my prize you guys me today in the mail!!! Both Sam and I were extremely happy , ol' Sam-er-eye kept trying to eat the box though LoL so I couldn't send you a video I kept trying to make😫.
I was so happy to get the green hag and the pack mule! I had crafted a Russian style baba yaga chicken hut for the two I had painted from the unpainted line and now the new can join her sisters and make a coven! My large minni was an earth elemental, which believe it or not is something I also didn't have but absolutely every DM should have on hand.

Man I use to love dragon magazine back in the 90's especially the Halloween issues they ran! There always seemed to be some more adult driven content in sections that gave my blossoming young DM mind material too dwell upon until the next month, great memories!
Lol I wish I had room on my shelf, I have had to resort to putting up a card table next to my PC desk to hold my ever growing armies! Maybe start hanging dragons from the ceiling?

It looks like what you have there is painted, whereas what I received and what it seems several people on Amazon received were just grey plastic models. The talons, eyes, and mouth, as well as the mini on the back are painted, but the entire body of the dragon is unpainted.

Very cool. I am looking forward to a whole range of consistently sized dragons. The pricing on some of this stuff makes me compare it to games workshop items which I also collect. While the costs aren’t quite the same, the level of detail is very different. The extremely large scale of this model does help though. I just hope that models like orcus which might not be as epically scaled won’t break the bank.

After reading the adventure I really love this ol' dragon gal - she is still mourning the death of her old wizard buddy and pretends he is still alive. Evil or not, she is also quite reasonable for a White Dragon, and only eats Walrus and Seals, staying away from the Ten-Towns and leaving humans alone.
Btw, I know they cost a lot, but for the future reviews you might want to invest and get the old Icons Gargantuan/Colossal Dragons (and Orcus) for comparisons. I know they fetch a high price, but trust me they are really amazing "minis". I will only get my Arveiaturace next year at earliest, but already I can tell she is similar in size to the old Colossal Red Dragon.

Thanks for another awesome Video! I preordered the old girl months ago and your video just added to my excitement. Cant wait to add her to the collection. I'm dying to get a look at the upcoming Blue and Green Dracoliches that are coming out in April as part of Boneyard. I did manage to snag a Young Adult White from RotFM as well of 2 each of the Young Red and Young Blue from F&T, rounding out the new dracollection rather well. Adult Black and Red are also pre-ordered... so as long as they keep cranking out these new properly sized dragons (and demon lords) Wizkids will be owning my paychecks for the foreseeable future. Its so nice to see these. The improved sculpts and paintjobs on the premiums is amazing.

What are your thoughts on the mismatching base sizes? When I saw how they handled flying dragons I understood why they made the inner circle, however with these massive miniatures I find it hard to want to consider the inner circle their true base size. I believe the chardalyn dragon's stat block references a huge mini, not even a gargantuan. I dont mind the sizes but I would want to use them a colossal instead.

Personally, yeah, I'd rather the bases be stable than be completely size accurate to the rules. Though... correct me if I'm wrong, but no where in the rules does it say that gargantuan tops out at four by four squares. By 5e rules, it's a creature that's 20ft by 20ft or larger. So it's base size can ultimately be up to you. Though you're right, the chardalyn dragon was designed to be a "huge" creature. But, at the end of the day, you and your players are going to remember confronting that enormous dragon on top of the mountain, and not the rules accommodations you had to make. So I say, just have fun with it! -Theo

Hey there! Actually the move proper hasn't started yet. Eek. We'll be on the move from the end of December to the beginning of January. Definitely plan to do more adventure reviews going forward, and I'm aiming to start incorporating some interviews with the creators where I can. My first one is already lined up. As for favorites... off the top of my head, I love Lost Mine of Phandelver. Looking forward to Kingmaker 2e. Storm King's Thunder has a lot of great material, but the main plot needs some work to be more compelling. Curious to try Against the Aeon Throne and Fly Free or Die. Lots of great stuff out there. Absolutely massive, though I do think the mini is a bit chunky. The art of Arveiaturice is from 5e is really different from Areiaturice from the Dragons of Faerun 3.5 book, in the later book she is a lot slimmer, as most white dragons

Coming back to this video after receiving mine in the mail and was disappointed (not that that's you lovely folks fault ha) But mine like many other people online is just gray, no white on the dang thing at all and no details painted. Mine finally came in the mail today and I was super excited...BUT Wizkids didn't apply any white paint to the mini. So my Arveiatrace is gray... they painted all the other parts... but not the main part. Confused and annoyed.

Here's the official response: I want to assure you all we’re also aware Arveiaturace is a White Dragon-not Gray-and we’re already working to ensure she makes a proper appearance on everyone’s shelves and gaming tables as quickly and painlessly as possible. Currently, we’re estimating you can expect heroes to risk icy death in the presence of the most-impressive Gargantuan White Dragon they’ve ever seen starting in June of this year. As you might imagine, making enormous miniatures is a lengthy process involving several rounds of revisions. In this case, a near-final prototype was inadvertently used as the factory’s Master Reference, instead of the Approved version. While this was a simple mistake, additional Quality Control measures are already in place to protect against this kind of issue happening again. Production of replacement dragons is already underway and we’re determining the most-expedient way to get them distributed to those of you who’ve encountered one of the not-quite-white dragons. At this time, we’re collecting requests for those replacements from those who would prefer one at: win.wizkids.com/replacements/ You can also expect additional information to follow in the next week or so. No she doesn’t. I don’t remember if her section specifies any modifications to the ancient white dragon stat block-notable named NPCs often do-but she should use that as her base anyway. -Grady

I have a burning question about upcoming releases. There’s an adult white dragon, and adult black, and red, dragons on their way. We’re also getting blue and green dracolichs. Are there going to be adult green and blues comparable to the other three? Or are the dracolichs meant to complete the collection, cause as cool as they may be, it would certainly be a disappointment

My understanding is that we should eventually get all the adult chromatic and metallic dragons, though it may take a few years. If it's an adult or ancient dragon and it has a 5e stat block, we should be seeing a mini for it eventually.
