Ok, that’s the first plugin I’ve heard that actually sounds like it might be a game-changer. Great job!
Be sure to let us know what you think once you've been able to take it for a spin.
Was psyching myself up to have to drop 300 bucks on this.. and what do you know? It’s part of my Spark subscription 😅 thank you UAD this is an absolute winner!
I just ran some acoustic guitar recordings through this and it sounded amazing.
Another fantastic plugin for UA. Really comes into its own in Luna Pro, IMHO. Excellent!
🤘🏻
U freaking AD. The masters of reverb.
Electric guitar, group vocals, synth and piano REALLY benefitted from this plugin. Good work! 👍🏽
👍🏻
Sounds fantastic!
So looking forward to usin this. Also bought the UAD 480l this week as well. I have the Relab but the UA 480 just oozes a fidelity that the Relab doesnt have. Also got the UA AMS delay last week ( Christmas came early ) UA IS the MASTER of quality reverbs. Great job UA. Im a big fan of these audio tools.
How much did you pay for the 480l? I’ve been wanting to get it but didn’t wanna pay $99. I also have the relab version
I also have the Relab one and love it very much. UAD is really better?
whoa! im happy! thanks!
I think I might love it
can this plugin do multichannel? or just stereo?
Damn it!!!!!!!! Fine!
any chance to know more about the compressor options (encode, air, crush etc.)? or a link with more info about? can't find detailed information
Check out our tutorial video, we include some more info about the Dolby Type-A configurations and other units that the compressor modes emulate: ua-cam.com/video/BcQSkqFmb8M/v-deo.htmlsi=K9yud4xNxX2N7P1t
Can you add those type of plugins to UAD Spark ? , EP-34 Tape Echo , AMS DMX Digital Delay & Pitch Shifter , MXR Flanger/Doubler
Not the DMX,and MXR.
Hey, wondering if I can get a DSP versions? I’m in LUNA and always seems maxing out CPU with heavy mixes not your DSP. Not very pro or worth the money otherwise
Probably look towards getting a better CPU...
This reminds me of Sound City recording studios
😂😂
Is this some sort of reverb plugin pls? Do I need to use one of your mics or will my Neumann work on this? Thanks
This plug-in emulates the famous Sound City Studios and gives you the sound of the room, mics, console, and effects - so, much more than just a reverb plug-in! You can use it on tracks that were recorded with any mic in any type of room. Check out the tutorial for more info: ua-cam.com/video/BcQSkqFmb8M/v-deo.htmlsi=K9yud4xNxX2N7P1t
@@UniversalAudio Thanks a lot . So can I use it on a Master Bus? Can I use it on a non-mic track like Midi drums or another software instrument track?
👌👌
Great stuff, also as ocean way studios but.... i suppose, it eats something like 15-25 percents of uad quad cpu, probably twice less of octo. You need like 4-5 on each project to kinda nail the idea of it.. But that's it. You can't use any other uad plugins coz no resourses(with quad and maybe some of them in octo case,) So, why make it native? Nowadays we have 8-16 cores cpu's were you can put hundreds of it. no need of these external boxes from 2000. Just make it sparx.
What is your mindset about this problem when you produce such heavy plugins? how you personally think to use it with all other heavy uad plugins ?
I’m still trying to figure out if I’m supposed to put this on a bus or directly on the track :/ I love this plug in but my computer hates it! It’s very hard on it.
You can use it either way! It works great on buses for saving CPU and placing multiple tracks into the same space.
@@UniversalAudio thanks. That’s my only criticism of it so far, it appears to be very cpu heavy. I like a lot of the presets but there aren’t any that seem to be designed for “an entire band, playing live in the room”. A bunch of those would be handy, that way, we can just set up one bus and send everything to it or maybe even put it on the master bus.
UAD 🎉
Why is it only native and not for Apollo as well?
Also with the Capitol mastering plug in too.
Sounds good tho
These are not tracking tools.
@@UniversalAudio Doesn't the DSP save CPU and handle the processing when using the UAD2 plugins at all times, not just while tracking?
Wow...
Woowoww
Funny how things change. First UAD want you to buy their Apollo cards, then they release a plugin only Native and my Mac OS is to old to even install this plug-in.
It’s great but make sure you have a powerful computer as it’s hungry on processing. Native only. Not UAD2- which is quite annoying if you’ve invested in UAD DSP😞
Yes, the UAD reply here confused me. Someone else said the same thing and UAD replied: "these are not tracking tools". Understood but doesn't the DSP save CPU and handle the processing when using the UAD2 plugins at all times, not just tracking?
I was hoping for a neve console like the api console. It would actually push me to use luna. Tbh I could care less about another reverb plugin. I wanna see someone do the pepsi challenge with these reverbs against other reverbs. Bet you couldn’t guess which one is the sound city version. Sorry for the negativity, just not pumped about this one.
Lol, this is not another reverb plug in! It does a lot more than that!
@@officialWWM Yea, I get it has compression, eq, re-mic capabilities, but at the end of the day its purpose is to put dry instruments into a space right? I purchased the ocean way plugin a while back and the problem with that plugin was the amount of dsp it used. This plugin looks like a cpu suck as well. It would be wayyy cooler if you could send all of your instruments to 1 instance of this plugin and open up multiple rooms at once. Then it would feel more like a control room.
@@OstrologyWhy cant you send all instruments to one instance of this as if this was the room recorded in?
Or, can’t you simply freeze the track to bake in the room (as in an actual recording) to free up the resources?
@@chaddonal4331 Yea, I could definitely freeze tracks. I just think it would be cooler if you could have all sent instruments in their separate rooms and manipulate them all at once. I.e. drums in the drum room, guitar in the guitar room, etc.
It seems to me that in the example showcasing the guitar you also deactivated the cab sim along with the plugin. Which would be unfair and unnecessary.
The cab sim is part of the plug-in.
@@UniversalAudio 😁
This one eats your CPU for breakfast. I got a MacBook Pro, and it can’t handle itself when I add this plug-in to a project file:/
That's a lot of phasing issues going on there.
Almost flanger like.
