Arthas is incomparable
When I hear this music, it makes me want to sit down and cry. Not because I'm sad, but because I know this music is part of a grand fall from grace in a grand world where this is common place. It's literally the perfect music for when Arthas, the man who declared he'd reign forever, was told by the first man he murdered on his path of darkness and damnation, "No king rules forever, my son."
I'm gonna have this on at my funeral.

Alexander Shustikov WoW just fucked the old awesome focus of gameplay and history about Warcraft. Today, i wanted WoW destroyed, back to the past and create a real Warcraft 4.

For me this expansion and Burning Crusade will always have a special spot in my heart. I know its just a video game and I no longer play WoW but it will always be good memories for me. Even though Im in University and I was just a kid when I was playing, WoW was a great experience for me.

Blizzard made one hell of a story with Arthas. His story is a Macbeth-like tragedy that goes far beyond the writing of most video games. You have to respect him as a character, and you have to respect blizzard for being able to write such an epic story behind him.
Also, heroic LK was the most fun encounter I had in Wrath. Props to blizzard again for making a boss in wrath that wasnt stupidly easy.
This song gives me the chills and I just wish I could go back in time and enjoy the glory of what was once Wrath of the Lich King. I get so nostalgic when I see videos like this it truly makes me sad. R.I.P. Arthas and WOTLK you will be thoroughly missed.
This music is a piece of art, I believe it represents the end of a great evil, though the world still struggles in the turmoil of other conflicts, it can finally heal, Rest in peace, Arthas Menethil.

This sound made me cry, i don't understand much of the lyrics, a few parts. But the music/chorus shows everything in words, in flashbacks. The music speaks to you, and its the only music that has ever done this to me. I'm not an emotional guy, but the lore behind arthas etc, is something i will always love and admire my whole life. The game in wotlk wasnt very good, but the lore behind it made me wanna play more and more. Honestly i felt a real CHILL when coming first to northrend.
World of warcraft is the only game that made me have emotions over quests and videos and the music is so amazing. RIFT and all the other MMORPGs that think their so great and amazing because they have about 5000 players will never be as amazing at WoW is and always will be. TY for the vid.

The fact that Invincable still follows his master in death kind of makes me feel like maybe Arthas still has some humanity for the horse to still retain its love and loyalty to his master.
@TheMysteriousAtheist, you have a point, but also notice that because Frostmourne shattered, Arthas got his soul back. So when he died, he was back to good arthas.

The gameplay as a whole? Yes
The too-smoothly wrapped up 'controlling the Scourge' thing with Bolvar? Yes
But the actual fight and everything that happened right up to and including his death? No, I think that was the one thing Blizz hit spot on. The actual fight, the phases included, what was said and done, was all done VERY well imho.
@Bragorn Sargeras is for all intents and purposes, defeated. They shut a massive portal on him as he was in it. Outside of Medivh he ceased to exist entirely. Which is why Kil'Jaeden is in charge now.

In the cinematic Arthas didn't reach for the helm, he just fell on his back. Arthas had become his self again since Frostmourne, the thing that changed him in the first place, was shattered, and he wasn't wearing the Helm. When he wore the Helm, Arthas joined with Nerzhul into the Lich King, eventually Arthas took over but it wasnt Arthas anymore, it was the Lich King. The real Arthas was buried somewhere in that mind and couldn't emerge until the Lich King was defeated.
I just realizes why this song is named invincible. Because of his horse that died but he ressurected after getting frostmourne. The story behind Arthas' betrayal is actually quite sad.

@dav0209 I think while they quite similar, the main difference is that Witch King of Angmar has lost all fragment of his soul, and only bowed to total servitude to Sauron. The Lich King on the other hand is a much more complex persona. Because there's Nerzhul at one side, and Arthas, who still has his humanity left somehow.

@awaker200 deathwing is basically a god. Created by the titans to overlook azeroth. He single handily almost destroyed azeroth in the past but got beat by his own power. Deathwing also has an army called the black dragonflight and the twilight hammer. Deathwing was also once good but he has lost complete sanity, unlike arthas.
@bmxmoto The sword had it's part in it. Since Artha's first victim by Frostmourne was his father, before he obtained the armor.

Arthas was one of the best characters in the Warcraft universe, as well as all the games in the world. I only played Warcraft 3, The Frozen Throne and WoW for about 4 years but...I've read my lore. He was and always will be one of the best. I was suprised that his humanity remained him....The Lich King couldn't win over Arthas's mind completely. Never.

He attempted to raise the Fallen Heroes of Azeroth ((players)) and failed as Tirion Fordring broke the ice and shattered Frostmourne, spirits then started to suffocate and strangulate him, he fell on the ground, The Helm of Domination falling off. He began to reach for it, but didn't have enough strength. He then saw the Ghost of his Father and "apologized." He then went limp, death in his eyes. His father closed his eyes, and Bolvar Fordragon took the Helm.
@swifty7051 the lore says that the spirit of the lich king resided within frostmourne and corrupted arthas so its kind of obvious that if frostlourne was destroyed arhtas's soul would be free and no longer connected to the lich king

I would like to think in the final raid of raids, battle of battles in Wow, against saragus,. that somehow ALL the Warcraft Legends reemerge either in spirit form or in some other fashion to cheer on or even help the heroes defeat the monster that has caused so much destruction and is ultimately responsible for the Fall of so many great heroes...
@Nickwow14 Finally a MoP lover. I'm with you on MoP reviving but epicness-wise Cata was good.
I listen to this and I want to play again. I think, yes! Epic and sad and fantastic! And then I think about the Pandera expansion that's been announced... And I'm not convinced they'll come up with music as emotive as this /sigh.
