Miniature Japanese inspired Garden w/ working Lantern - Tutorial

- Опубліковано 7 лют 2025
- Hi guys! Today we're making this cute, miniature japanese inspired garden, with a working lantern and fountain. It fits really well with the teahouse we made a while ago; • Miniature Japanese Tea... This also feel kindda like a little fairy garden, though none of these “plants” needs water ;) If you wanna see more projects like this, just let me know :D
Good to know:
I work in 1:12 scale, but you can make them in any size you want and add headpins to make them charms :) I used a mix of the polymer clay brands Fimo and Cernit, but you can use any brand you like. The liquid clay I use is from the brand Fimo. My mold maker is from Siligum/Sili-put.
Thank you so much for watching, I hope you enjoyed this video ^^

You are an amazing teacher! I love the way you were very clear about what was needed; very clear instruction and demonstration. No unnecessary time (and data!)-wasting chit-chat!! THANKS!! Please do more!!! (amazing creativity, too - not just a rehash of what's already on youtube, and you give credit where you've used someone else's idea!)
This is such a relaxing piece to look at. It would be great on a desk/table top, just to remind you to relax.
Without her, my Japanese garden and house would've been a mess! Thank you akameru!
You're so smart to take apart the light to use for this scale. I'm going to use that trick because, you're right about the miniature lights being so expensive. Thanks so much, as always, for sharing your talents!
I like your videos! They give my daughter watches you and she gets inspired just by how cool it turned out!
That looks way Diffrent than a garden that looks like a....... MASTER PEICE!!!!
I freaking LOVE this japanese-inspired series you have going on. The teahouse was simply amazing, and I really loved the teapot and table you made to go with it. The koi pond was also cool. But this was really just amazing!

Wow
It's beautiful
i have a little tip for you! to make the water look more realistic you can use multiple layers of mod-podge glue, because when the glue dries it becomes transaparent and it gives the glue this water-looking texture.
wow...love it.
Arigatou! I'm not even Japanese, but thank you so much this is amazing!
I made an old lantern into a miniature greenhouse, but I added orchids and a koi pond when I found out my great uncle bought it from a Japanese street market when he fought in WW2. That and won me a badge at a dollhouse show.
