I KNEW I passed y'all. I even pointed out to my daughter when we passed by on the freeway! So glad yall enjoyed Chattanooga come back again theres tons more to do ❤
Lodgeware is GREAT quality at very reasonable prices. And so cool what Frieda & Garnet Carter did, creating Rock City & preserving 400 plant species. Thanks, guys!
Just gonna say, the two of you have created exceptionally good videos. Love seeing the family and the enjoyment yall have together. Production value is top tier.
Love, Love, LOVE Tennessee! It was what made us decide to take this leap as soon as possible. We went to Rock City as well as Ruby Falls in September of 2020 and our kids fell in love with the green and the hiking, just the outdoor adventures. It is our "final destination" for the first leg of our adventure.
After spending months binge watching 5-6 episodes per night, watching just one episode per week leaves us so hungry for more. It’s the fastest 23 minutes in our life.
My earliest memory of Rock City was when I was four and my mother was 8 months pregnant with my youngest sister. Fat mans squeeze almost became “Call the Midwife.” I went back 40 years later with my four year old daughter. It was great seeing the magic through her eyes. Thanks for bringing it all back😃.
I love Rock City. The 1st time I went there was probably 1964 or 65. I think 7 or 8. It hasn't changed. I love the flowers, trees and slot canyons. If I lived in Chattanooga I would get a season pass and just go there and relax. Chattanooga is a cool town with lots to see. The Aquarium is awesome and I love Ruby Falls.
Awesome you guys came to Murfreesboro. Life long resident (46 years). I hope you enjoyed your time here. My 11 year old daughter asks to watch every week.
You need to come back to Rock City now at Christmas time to see all the lights at night!! We have been taking our kids since they were little and they are now in the late twenties and we still go!! You walk the same garden at night with christmas lights everywhere, music, santa, workshops etc... We love it!!
Loving to see family time together, for Christmas time, Now Trish has a cast Iron Pan for taking out her Frustrations, putting on a smile in all situations is not easy but necessary to keep family fun atmosphere enjoyable for the time together making memories
I’m surprised that the Lodge store is still there? I thought that my wife bought out their entire inventory when we went there? That being said, cast iron is amazing. So much fun to cook on.
Hey! My husband and I just found y'all and have been binging all weekend. Love to watch your travels. We are mostly weekend warriors. Started camping about 4 1/2 years ago when my husband had prostate cancer and we stayed at Stone Mountain Ga while he was having treatment. We are getting ready to get our first fifth wheel. Trish, you look and act so much like our niece it is so cool. Have enjoyed watching your kids grow and how they have adapted to your full-time RV'ing.
Man, little Victoria is all grown up and on her own. Time just flies by and most of the time we never get to really see how our kids have grown and matured. I was just looking on some old video's from Mexico and she is the carbon copy of Trish. Well see ya'll next Sunday. Happy travels
You were the first couple we watched RV videos to begin our research yrs ago We are finally getting our Class B next month and can’t wait to visit some of the places you have introduced us too BYW your kids are awesome! Be safe
We stayed at raccoon mountain campground and caverns in Chattanooga.. that was an awesome campground. Simple. But had caverns on site you could buy tours for. We did the private deep cave tour and had to climb and scoot and crawl. So fun
I just found out that Rock City is one of the few places my wife has been to that I have not. What a cool looking place. It has been added to our “to do” list. Thanks for sharing.
We love Chattanooga! We were able to do Rock City at Christmas time at their Enchanted Garden of Lights! It was quite spectacular. Something to put on your bucket list!
I grew up in Chattanooga at the foot of Lookout Mtn. In a little place called Tiftonia. My family still lives in Chattanooga. Glad you guys had a good time!
The problem you have is if you are running the goodyear tires they can only go to 87 MPH so you cannot get to the required 88 mph you need to upgrade the tires for time travel. Hope you all stay well.
Awesome to see my home town in the video. There are tons of great outdoorsy things to do in Chattanooga with plenty of RV parks. You all should come back and explore.
It’s such a joy spending some time with you folks. I’ve been by Rock City a hundred times, and never gone in. Will not pass it by again. Tori’s visit, and the return of “Marc and Tori’s Tips & Tricks” was a definite bonus. I was hoping to see Caleb in his Marty McFly outfit. Good Vibrations
I feel like I am the unseen family member as I have seen EVERY video!! Love how y'all live your lives. The way you splice the video together with the music is so kinda exciting!! I swear if I ever see that you have been in Nashville and didn't at least let me know, well I will just have to keep watching. Not only am I a manager in a hotel in the Opryland area but I also like across the pond the Nashville Shores. Love you guys and keep it coming.
I started watching your channel 2 months ago beginning with the very first episode through this episode, this beats any TV watching there is. I have loved watching you all grow from somewhat amateur RVer's to Rock Star RVer's. We are part-timers and visit west of the Mississippi a lot. We have kids in Cave Creek, Scottsdale and Phoenix along with Georgetown TX. So we are out west most of the time. I was born and raised in Nashville and have to admit I have never visited Rock City....had no idea what it was all about. It is now on our destination list for March...thanks for the tour around this awesome country we live in and extra thanks for introducing me to my own backyard. LOL
Yippee for Marc and Tori’s tips and tricks! Great to see the family at 4/5. “Just looking” at a factory store is not possible. Thank you for sharing and have a great night.
Great video!! Didn't get to Rock City last time we were in Chattanooga. Thanks for the visit. It was very cool. Am I the only one sad that your daughter had to leave?! And your dog is so well behaved!!! I found that awsome! My two are completely opposite. I love Chattanooga!! Ya'll did a great job!! More please!!
Awesome episode! Great to see Tori. Quick tip: you should emphasize the 'a' in Forescan a bit more. It kinda sounded like something else. I had to rewind to 19:10 a few times to see what you were talking about.
So Glad that you were able to spend time with Victoria. Enjoyed the outing in Chattanooga and what beautiful scenery there was to see. Always look forward to Sundays for KYD. Get a kick out of seeing Charlie. Thanks!
Nice, I love the area here but hate the traffic sometimes. Not enough ways to get across the river that are close. I go over the river every single day so I get stuck in traffic often. Glad y’all got to enjoy some of the area :)
I wish we could have done more. Rain and closures, but we enjoyed a day trip. Oh, and we canceled our resv at the Chop House because all the RV parks were full. Such a bummer. That looked like a great restaurant. And Aretha Frankensteins was closed. We ended up getting lunch at Fresh Squeezed. Rabit food, but it was good.
@@KeepYourDaydream looks like you had a great trip! If you’re ever in town again check out the aquarium, ruby falls, the incline railway, and chickamauga battlefield.
Loved your video tonight. It was great seeing Tori again. The videography was so awesome and inspiring. Thanks for making my Sunday night. Someday I'll get my videos going.
Nashville is one stop I always wanted to do and now it is a must ,thanks so much for giving me the look of what I can do there. The murals are beautiful, Rock city looks great to.
Great to see Tori. Tennessee is a great state for camping. Caleb, cherish every second with your sister. When you get older like me you will want those memories. I had the greatest sister ever unfortunately I lost her four years ago and I miss her every second of every day. Keep the rubber on the road. God bless.
Enjoying the video so much, then it was over. Glad to see Tori again. Mark, beware I think a Caleb is waiting in the wings to take over. Charlie, you have the best dog!
Considering a move to Chattanooga; looked at homes in the Cleveland area yesterday. What a coincidence, your tour posting today. We live close enough to go back soon but not to look at houses - Rock City rocks!
Julia's sister lives up in Clarksville and on one of our visits we went down to Chattanooga and stayed at the Choo Choo Hotel. Got one of their rail car rooms. Beautiful city. I about fell out of my chair when you mentioned Forscan. I use it to run stationary regen but just down loaded their software update license tool before watching this. Will be doing some updates to the 2016 F250 ecu. One item is to be able to monitor DPF soot levels, but so far have not found a way to use the trucks system to manually start regen. From what I have seen that is only available with 2017 and on. Also will be updating the ECU to reflect the new 50 gal fuel tank.
Just came across your channel and the first video I watched and you are in my home town. I have lived in Murfreesboro for 32 yrs. We are thinking of getting an RV next yr since we are now both retired. We love travelling across the country and I have toured 43 states on our motorcycle. We are looking at a Class A so the bike can be on a rack in the back. We have a very large touring bike. Thanks for the video and I really enjoyed all the places. Keep safe.
Hi Marc and Trish - We spend a lot of time in the Chattanooga area. Our daughter attends Covenant College on top of Lookout Mountain. We have spent time at the Starbucks right across from Rock City. We have stayed at both Raccoon Mountain Campground as well as Harrison Bay State Park. It's nice to see a video of somewhere we are familiar with. We really enjoy following your journey.
If you are still around the Chattanooga area you should definitely check out Fall Creek Falls State Park! It's about an hour north of Chattanooga home of the largest waterfall east of the Mississippi River.
