You are adorable! I remember feeling “old” in my mid 20s because of all my childhood trauma. As I am now nearing 60 with a lifetime of growth behind me as well as a bright future in front of me I can tell you that you feel the same in the inside no matter what age you are blessed to be. I’m glad you are back! Good luck with school!
To be honest, we really want to hear about your relationship with your family-both now and growing up. For a lot of us, it's how we found your channel. Glad to know you'll be back on YT (at least for a while), and glad to hear you are coming out of your depression. ♥🤍
Yes, honestly I know it would bring up a lot of bad comments and I understand if you don't want to share about your family. But for people like me who want to believe the best about your family Leonardo, it would be nice to know the truth. I would believe you over anyone else. Nevertheless, I appreciate you and Jenna sharing your lives on UA-cam. It's encouraging to me to see people my age following the Lord and overcoming their obstacles. You and Jenna are so relatable to me. Especially you Leonardo because I also was homeschooled, had many siblings, and struggled with depression in my early adulthood. I completely agree - I always feel like there is something more to Leonardo that he is holding back or something- like I cant explain it- but I think if he did maybe one video explaining his childhood more of his depression where it stemmed from idk but something is just missing!
Lets not stick our noses to things which are not our business. It's their private thing. We'll get to see these things in videos IF they want to share it.

It’s not hard to read between the lines. Asking certain questions, is inappropriate and just not our business or place. When’s the last time you’ve seen him in a video with his family of 10 that should be enough to answer your question. Sometimes a lot can be said when no words are spoken. That doesn’t mean that he needs to open up and air, his families, personal business with the Internet! People need to respect ones privacy. If he’s opening up about his mental health, but not his mother then obviously there’s a reason!
This young man is very intelligent and wise for his age. He speaks with honesty and also thinks about what hes saying. Depression is very hard. Being with a depressed person is very hard.

I've had depression since I was 17 and now I'm almost 23. Tried to end it twice, but ultimately I'm grateful to be here. I remember enjoying a book for the first time in a long time and feeling this unforgettable and unique emotion that I knew that came from God. My clinical depression is chronic and it really sucks, some days I can't get out of bed and not many people understand it and it's okay, I don't expect it anymore, but it is nice when someone gets it. So thank you for sharing. It might sound selfish but sometimes we just need someone to relate to.
Happy you're here! :,) Thank you for sharing. ❤️ I agree that being able to relate is very nice, and I don't see it as selfish at all. Just finding someone that has even the faintest idea helps. A lot of people don’t understand depression, and I agree with you, that is ok.
I just hate it when people put others down when they compare their pain instead of understanding that everyone has different journeys.
I'm sure it really does suck, I can’t even imagine…!But I hope you can continue to hold onto and enjoy those moments of joy that God gives you. Stay strong, you are not alone ❤️ God bless you!

I've been watching your videos since you were a teenager and it is wonderful to see how you have grown and matured into a strong, happy, independent young man. Someone else has said this already, but you should address the situation with your family when you are able. I think it would be cathartic for you. Also, you must know your siblings watch your videos and they may need your help and guidance. The people that have followed you from the start have a very good understanding of your why your depression started. You’re not alone, you have our support. We’ve watched you grow and be self reliant. Very proud of you.

@@caterinas6863 Who would punish him though? That mother is so far away from him now. He needs to make money, and they surely are not helping him. So he should tell his story. It would probably be cathartic for him. Would you agree? In the meantime the amount of people that would listen would get him the views he needs to put money in his pocket for

Depression really sucks. The first time you get depression it’s so confusing and scary. You think, “but I’m fine?” and yet it’s so hard to get out of bed and do the basic tasks. Even when recovered, there’s moments we just break down because we feel we regress.
It’s hard in those moments and I’m so proud to see you’re still here with us:) I look forward to your future videos. Sending virtual hugs to you and Jenna
I hope this is encouraging: in one of my psychology classes we studied that “young adulthood” is ages 18-40, then “middle adulthood” is 41-60, with “old/late adulthood” being 61 years old and older.
So, according to psychology you and your brain are still young until you’re 40, so you have another 14 or 15 years! (Hopefully that’s encouraging, and not discouraging)
Totally feel this, I married my husband when he was 24 and he’s now turning 34! He tells me he feels like he’s in his mid 20’ which makes me sad but makes me think we don’t really feel the years
You picked some good subjects to start with . I prefer your serious talks. Try talking slower, nothing to be embarrassed about. You have an opinion that is worthy to be listened to. I found my way through and out of depression with gratitude and focusing my energy not on self but in giving.
I've suffered with depression a very long time. Clinical depression which means i will always have it. I am thankful to God who gave me the most amazing husband who i have been married to for 46 years. He has always been my biggest support. Old huh? I am going to be 65 in June. I am thankful for all these years. Our 3 granddaughters, just simple things. Hope you continue to thrive. Yes your wife is a treasure.❤

Glad to see a new video after a while. Your story is relatable in many ways. Suffered from severe depression for 5 years up to the point wanted to leave this world. Had to cut out all toxic people and things out of my life and eventually the rest of the people as well, to cope. Kinda lost trust in people and couldn't let anyone close any more. It's sad. But I still have my optimism and for me it means I want to believe things go all right in the end instead of they going awry. I just have mother, my wife and kids and rarely leave my house, but living the best life, like a hermit lol. After surviving all of the stuff it left me a crippling anxiety so that is why I now have a psychotherapist for a third time in my life, now going on for three years. I know you will probably delete this comment which is totally fine because I just want you to read it: Leonardo, we want you to talk about your family. It's obvious that they're the ones responsible for your hurt. You had to find out about your sister being in danger over the internet. You had to find out about your mother leaving your father for a new guy over the internet. You were being erased from the family channel like you don't exist anymore. These things are brutal and not normal! And that's just the stuff I know... just the tip of the iceberg. Cannot imagine what else there is. And I absolutely admire you for your wisdom and forgiving heart. And this is not about unforgiveness but about speaking up about injustice - God hates injustice. You can forgive people for hurting you while still talking about it. Honestly, I can't stand it any longer watching your dad getting dragged through dirt by Taina over and over again and not ever speaking up about it. It is not okay. It is not okay that everyone's hiding what's really going on, Paul is a human being and deserves respect. He deserves a voice. And so do you, so if Paul doesn't speak up you should. I'm not saying you have to drop names but I want you to know that it's okay to share your side of it. What happened to YOU is YOUR business, that you're allowed to talk about. You don't owe them anything and it saddens me to see everyone being silent about every messed up thing that's happened while Taina continues like nothing happened and blinds her viewers with a lie... If they're not even there for you, why protect them? Yes, you speaking up may cause something but then again, is it really that bad? Maybe it's time for them to leave youtube. If you have to struggle financially because your parents didn't give you a better upbringing there's no reason for you to protect them from financial struggles. I hope you know that this comment is me 100 % supporting you. I know I'm just a stranger on the internet but I care. I care about justice. I have and will always support you Leonardo, that's why I want you to stand up for yourself! Which is also healing. These things need to be talked about so others don't suffer the same as you have. I agree to a point but Taina is supporting her children and even her grandchild from UA-cam, so if she had to leave they would all suffer terrible consequences... the children are innocent.

It takes a lot of strength to admit that you suffer from depression and I commend you for that. Depression sucks and can really effect how you operate in life and its great that you have such a strong support system with your wife as many people withdraw from those who suffer because it is difficult to deal with them. As a fellow sufferer of depression, I understand how tough it is some days and then other days I get mad at myself for being depressed knowing there shouldn't be a reason I'm feeling that way, yet I just do.
Also, your new pup is super cute and I can't wait to see more of it in your upcoming videos!

Oh I am so proud of you! The backround and your fam situation is so so hard to rise up. It must have been so confusing growing up and in the end leaving that but by doing that you are brining freedom and light not only to you but for your siblings too! Leonardo, depression seems to put a wet blanket on all the good times which is hard to get out from under but I am so glad life is looking so much brighter for you atm. I promise to watch all your adverts through to the end to help in some small way and so glad you now have a teeny tiny baby to share with your beautiful supporting wife. I look forward to you getting back in the swing of things on yt and please remember if things get you bogged down and you become lost coming up with content every two weeks, just revert to taking your camera out and filming local life in your location, it’s interesting to see how you live and cope in your part of the world. God bless you both. I thought I was old since my early 18’s… Allways thinking I was arriving late and didn’t have time (late! No time! With 18!). Now in my 40’s I wish I had the perspective of my youth by then and relax about it. Thinking it out loud and naming depression, which is hard for itself, is very generous of you, and I’m sure it would help others with the same feelings and you yourself as well. I have had deep depression for as long as my youth,I was in counseling for a year back in the late 90's,
(Yes I'm old 64 😂)
Taught me so much about my life,so happy you have pushed though and now could look forward not backwards.

I have depression and I know that there are times that I've sucked the life out of everybody near me, yet my husband of 22 years has stuck by my side regardless. He is my Jenna, and we all deserve a good Jenna! I'm sorry you've had such an eventful time lately and sadly, people seem to love drama. You don't need to tell us anything, but you know that however much you choose to tell us, we are all standing behind you. And yay for chihuahuas (I have one too!).

I just turned 50 in May. It's the one birthday that has affected me the most. I can make better choices in how I feel about certain things. I'm enforcing boundaries and having more peace than ever before. I use to be a people pleaser and hated confrontation but now I'm all about what's best for my family and I stand firm even if there's confrontation. I'm so happy for you. You look genuinely happy and a weight has been lifted from you. I look forward to seeing what you share. Remember, just because you share doesn't mean we have to know everything. Your integrity about not telling other people's business/actions is so good to see. Go forth young man and enjoy what God has in store for you.
