Everyone seems to know how to remove a backgrounds as long as it has one solid pattern. Show us how to remove backgrounds with other people, buildings cars going by etc, please do. I want to learn
That’s called masking and is very involved. Adobe After Effects is best software for that.
Unscreen does it online but it’s not free.. also, Davinci resolve studio has a magic mask

A long time ago, Windows Movie Maker used to have the chroma key function. I made a Sims video of two Sims eating dinner in a live action real world restaurant. I wish Windows had never removed that.

Any suggestions on how to remove green screen from an animated gif/video? Tried it in Kapwing but the software removed everything including the animation - probably because there's no person figure.
when I hit remove background it just removes the entire clip to white then when I hit chroma key nothing changes? and ideas?

My background appears but it is not the original colours of the image but it now make the background image different shades of green

hi, tried the free one and its not letting me get in to effects at the top right of the studio screen. it only shows edit anf animate. any ideas? thanks
Make sure your video has completely uploaded. Also select video to activate Effects tab. Lmk

HELPPPP when I edited the video, I managed to remove the background. But when I want to export and upload the video, some of the background wasn’t removed. Is it because I’m using the free plan?
Good question. No. Regardless of what plan you’re on, it may not remove all of the background.

When you upload a video to this kapwing and then remove background, it takes a very long long long time to remove the background, so, the bigger the video the longer you will have waiting.

Not so much. Best for talking head type scenarios with one subject in frame

Great question. A background can be any photo, graphic or video. Format images to jpeg and video to mp4.

If I shoot a video and the greenscreen wasn't wide enough, is there any way to just paint the margins green on the video? I can crop to fill to get rid of the non green, but then I'm too large. It seems like I should be able to paint a green margin on the finished video. Does it make sense? Seems like an easy fix if I knew how. I am safely in the green, so I could just color the little bit of exposed bookshelf to make it green...couldn't i?
Yes. Lock the ratio on your footage and crop to the green then remove green background.
I’ve been trying to figure this out for some time but didn’t know what to type in google search. I will try this right now. Hopefully it works. Otherwise I think I’m going to have to make a mask in photoshop shop frame by frame ugh! I’ll post again on my comment with an update after trying this site.
There’s some options missing when you try to use the the phone

How long should it take to show at the point where you can see the white around the focal point? I have a four second clip and it's been close to ten minutes so far. I just have a white screen and a rotating wheel thing. I have set the sensitivity to the lowest to see if that speeds it up.
Hm. Try loading it again. If it still isn’t working you could try unscreen instead.
