I’m about to get this for 50$ is that what it retailed for ? I just started collecting and I really hate paying gouged prices. I refuse to get kitana because I saw her at 50 for a while now she’s at 80-100.
I was gonna get Kitana like 2 months ago but decided to get other items and now she’s almost 100$ everywhere I look. I saw her for 50 before. Lol. Looks like I’m gonna get the raiden one for 50 instead.
Thanks for the early review! Still waiting on my Raiden and Scorpion to come in, but really loving the way Diamond Select is doing the classic MK figures. Nice TMNT collection btw. Cheers.
I hadn't seen a review video for a long time, I wanted to shoot a video right away when I bought it. I'm glad if I helped :) thank you for your comment :)
Thanks for the unboxing and presentation, I've just received Raiden today, in my opinion the best looking figure in this three figures collection by Diamond Select. But if you have enough space to display all three of them, you cannot do anything wrong here. I love that they decided to be inspired by the designs of the first two videogames in the Mk franchise. The designs of the first two games were the best the series had to offer even to this day. Raiden was also bad ass in the first two games until Midway decided to kick him out of the roster in the third game and make him a complete fool in Armageddon going forwards. But then again, NetherRealm Studios almost gave every character a DC-Comic paint with the beginning of Mortal Kombat X which I simply don't like.
@@dioramahobi Yes, somehow the magic faded with Mortal Kombat 3 but I still loved the series. Mortal Kombat Deception is also in my opinion the best 3D entry together with the Reboot from 2011. But the more control Warner gained over the franchise, the series became somewhat a DC Comics brawler without much DC influence. The irony of course is there is already Injustice available from NeatherRealm Studios. I kinda wish they would produce games like the first first two again. Have a nice weekend and keep up the great work on your channel!
How would this scale with like a mcfarlane MK figure?

I agree with what you said. The best for me are the 1st and 2nd MK games anyway.
