I have this and like it a fair bit (from a distance 😢 ) but jesus why are the teeth so bad!! Its my only problem with it but its a big problem. Id love to fix them myself but seriously would make a mess at it
A thumbs up for your review but a thumbs down for the statue. When i saw the official pictures i immediately realized how bad it this, so i'm happy without him. Sometimes DST do a really good job with their statues but many times disappoint me.
@@marodriguez212 i don't know why but, every single time, DST miss the opportunity to give us a really good face sculpt for Wolverine and this irritate me so much. I collect 1/10, 1/9 and 1/6 statues and most of Marvel statues are DST, except this, infact i bought the SEGA Wolverine and it's much much better and cost me less.
@@chronospeedster1916 I hear ya, theirs a reason alot of the pieces are emotionless. once they have expressions the piece falls apart. And I don't understand, their artists are capable!
I like it even if the face is different, Jean the guy who sculpted him is one of the best, even though I like the brown suit best, you can’t deny the originality of these colors, days of future past is great also, something about Wolverine in a bomber jacket is very cool
You know, the longer I own it and look at it, it grows on me. I think I personally just have a preference what I want wolverine to look like. We all know a bad paint job can ruin a good sculpt
Mind sharing what kind of paint and how you planned to repaint his teeth? XD I might have to do that now too since they screw it up so bad....lol Nice vid btw~
A thinned out Acrylic paint, really just going in and filling the teeth out more, while maintaining the gum lines. ( Try not to cake it on where the teeth meet one another ) than just hit it with a satin or semi gloss varnish. And thanks!
Hey, GF, thanks for the straight forward and honest review. I'm new to statue collecting, so I'm trying to learn all I can about them. You got a thumbs up and a new subscriber.

I can't disagree with you. I was hesitant when I first saw it as well. It's biggest weakness is it's face sculpt I think.

It’s bad ass, just those teeth man, it looks like he’s been smoking crystal meth, lol
On the other hand, I don’t mind the teeth, kinda reminds me of a roughed up hockey player
