I have been subscribed to you for a long time, mostly so that I could find you when needed to watch how to make something (I have done this for several channels, as each has lots to learn from). I ran across this video and found the link in your descriptions. I can not thank you enough for posting this video. please keep sharing your tutorials and finds as they can be valuable to a lot of ppl
You can load old programs into the virtual XP that is included in Win7. Just look for instructions to load it and then you treat it like its' own computer and install any programs that would run under XP :) Love it!

wow, glad you made this tute, I downloaded the trial, but I have been so busy knitting I never got to play in it yet. I want to do your little skull/bone/pink bow guy some day this decade.
I WISH we were able to change the bead numbers and bead names of our beads in the custom made bead charts! After you copy the bead brand and the bead color it won’t let you change anything of our beads we’re planning on using… even in the Registered program! Does anyone know IF it can be done?
how many columns and rows do I need to make a thing for my door? my door is 35in wide by 78in tall. I've never used this before and i cant find a video that explains how to do that
Windows has the Snipping Tool - works terrific on Windows 7. Free. Screens, partial screens. There's another one that supposedly will allow odd-shaped selections.
Oh and I forgot, I loved those pictures of Felix the cat, my sister had a t-shirt printed with a picture like the one you have on your pattern :)
lol it might help to read the tab that you are calling patterns they are called PALETTS!!! not patterns!! have you bothered to check out the other features it has like customizing your pdf files, how it exports images and grids? there is so much more to work with than complaining of not zooming out as stated below if you zoom out more you wont be able to mark the squares for the bead of choice.
personally when i do beadwork say of nature etc i prefer it to look more real like than some cartoon or reduced color image. the person that made this program done a great job. i see no room for any complaints. except a grid for rosettes.
i can show you other beading programs that are far worse and let you zoom out to where the beads look like dots.
@fandelesluthiers I had one too! I loved that cartoon when I was little.
I have been using Bead Tool since it came out. I love it for doing bracelet patterns. I wish they would come out with a version that had a round pattern to do?

@crittersgrama I just looked. Not available for Win7Premium. I'm bummed. Great way to make people spend more money on an upgrade, though!

it has a preview window that shows the entire image as a thumb and as far as zooming out you wont be able to click where the beads go if you zoom out much further.
this is a great program however i miss rosettes and hope he adds that in

@crittersgrama I wish it were included, but as far as I know, that nifty application is only available on Win7 Professional, which I do not have.

Can you use Beadtool 4 for uploading your own photos for beading on a loom?
Yes you can, turning it into a black and white photo is a little easier. (From what I've found) learning photoshop will be a huge help! Something I am still working on. :)
I have had a very bad experience, have you heard of any more?

oh I know. Amazing how they get away with this. Just to let you know, I'm not new to bead pattern software and have successfully used mac stitch for many years. If you are still looking...jeff and deb are a doll, super good customer service, the genuinely care, the program has no flaws, you can simply auto center your motifs, its well worthit. I'm just so sorry that I wasted my time with beadtool4, time I do not have really. but I'm well on my way now with macstitch, which also works in win stitch if you have a pc. Good luck, thanks for responding, people like beadtool4 like to make you believe you are the ONLY ONE out there unhappy with their service, turns out, it isnt so.

Thanks for all your good information. I'm still a newbee when it comes to beading (weaving).I think it's pure luck when I finally complete a project. :)
enjoy the activity, its very therapeutic....minus beadtool4 of course...haha, sure glad there are others out there with integrity. makes me appreciate them the much more. Life goes on w/o tool just fine..

I do not recommend buying this product based on my experience with the customer service. The owner was condensing and combative in all email exchanges.

Do not use this program. Mine quit working. Christopher refused to fix or refund when I sent proof my program does not work.
