It's one of the reasons I love her so much.
Her cover of Toxic is one of my favorite songs due to that. It's so melodic, then just flawlessly transitions into hard rock and metal.
I thought it was really natural I did not even notice. I think it would sound worse if she had only stuck to one style.

...There was a man I used to know. A really cool person named Andy. Whenever I was in his car, as a kid, the one song I remembered playing in his car was this. It came on often enough that it stuck with me for years. A good memory really. An even better person. He was basically my dad for a while... He unfortunately left one day, without a word. I did find him again, years later, around the year I was 16 (last year) He's been doing well enough. Personally I don't blame him, but hell did I miss him. Thanks for making a cover of this. It's a song that takes me back to a better time. One of the few songs I never get tired of listening to.

From the second Jonathan kicks this song off til the very end, every second feels like perfection. When Lauren comes blasting in with the drums, hundreds of listens later I STILL get chills.
She always emotes incredibly while singing, but the first "dance fucker dance" is otherworldly. And her delivery of the second round of "dance fuccccker dance" is a genius choice.
Jonathan commands the vocals on his end just as equally and looks like a total badass. You two killed it. My all time favorite song.
I love how she has a gorgeous singing voice and then can scream and growl like like an epic metal vocalist. Great cover!

This was one of his favorite songs to play and I always associate it with him. Unfortunately one day we were longboarding and he crashed, and died 6 months later from the complications.
