It actually makes sense that they did not quite know each other in the past because she was 14 years old and he was 22 years and it would be quite weird for them to start hanging around each other.
I think it is because we want to know if the characters get on in real life. This is because the show is likely to survive if the cast gets on. There is no point in investing in a show only for the show to be canceled because the cast does not get on. Lethal weapon the series comes to mind, other shows include Sex and the city, Charmed, X-files, etc.
It occurrrd to me that the many FBombs would offend my father- that said... He also limited our access to the Beatles music when we were kids. He was the same age as the Beatles! They evolved with the times- but he mostly didnt.:/
There are so many choice words in English that I feel some could be substituted for f*ck, for f*Vi’s sake. It seems to be the adjective/adverb of choice these days.
