      Thanks as always! I’m glad you like the music, I’m getting mixed reviews on it. My Uncle handmade the knife, I made the sheath.

    Very educational! I should put to practice one of these tent set ups. I feel like I need to stock up on survival gear as I do herbs lol. Nice job!!!

      Thank you! Maybe we collaborate I can show you how to set some of these configurations up. I really need to pick your brain regarding the herbs, medicinals and wild edibles.

      UglyTent Bushcraft & Survival yes! Would be fun in general! Maybe come late spring or summer, when the herbs are out and in their full glory ❤

    Would have loved to see the doors closed and how you keep them that way. Great vid, thanks for sharing.

      Well crap, you’re right, I forgot to show that! Thank you for bringing that to my attention, honestly I completely forgot to shoot that part. But I had intended too. I might shoot a follow up to that. Thank you 🙏

      I hope you will, really enjoy your tarp set ups. I also prefer a tarp although in tick/bug season a tent or hammock with a bug net are great as well! LOL

      Thanks again, the Tarp is approximately 10 1/2 x 9 1/2. I did a video review on it in a previous video.

    High, i prefer the Halfpipe-tarp-setup, and that is possible with thinn limbs also. Kindly Fiete

    • @UglyTent
      @UglyTent  6 років тому

      I’m not familiar with the half-pipe configuration, I’ll look into that. Thank you for the comment!

    i recently bought a Gorilla 9x9 tarp of amazon but found it a bit heavy at 2.4lbs. i think i may need to spend a bit more for a lighter weight fabric.

    • @UglyTent
      @UglyTent  5 років тому

      It’s like anything else, you trade one thing for another. Like durability for less weight. Also it depends on your goals; if you’re just bushcrafting I wouldn’t worry about it. But if you’re doing a lot of backpacking miles, then yeah I’d lighten my load.

    Awesome video.. It didn't show up in my feed. Saw you posted another video on Instagram. ;) Always enjoy your "wild camping," And your tarp setups. It is nice to go camping with others. Where you using your new sleeping bag? How cold was it?

    • @UglyTent
      @UglyTent  7 років тому

      Thanks T! Yes I was using my 5 degree sleeping bag and it did wonderfully. It got down to about 26. I shot this the same time I did the video review on the bag itself.
