Nico… I’ve noticed that a lot of famous TV chefs wear some fantastic watches. Andrew Zimmern wears Omega, Breitling , etc. I think it would be a good video to critique some famous chefs watch collections. Cheers!

He should have saved 5 grand and just got the regular steel seamaster professional. It's heavier than the titanium version, half the price and it has a date window. I don't have a ton of watches but my Seamaster is my favorite watch I own. Sitting at less than a second per day. I basically never take it off.

I would like to hear from you go in depth with grand seiko, if that's worth your time. I am currently aspiring to buy one, as a first "high end" watch if it qualifies as such, and I plan to buy from pride and pinion a rolex, when I find myself financially successful in the future.

I feel like when people talk about watches as status the circle that these comedians are in is what that is supposed to mean. They are enthusiasts of watches who as they have more success can afford the various watches they really like. It's not a "I'll have made it when I own X" it's "I really like X and can afford it". They can talk watches for ages and if you are able to bend their ear knowing about watches provides you some common ground.
